Envy*
What light has shown me,
let darkness not take from my sight.
Even though such beauty was not meant for mortals,
I have witnessed the wonders of your eyes.
Sear the vision into my mind,
so that the blackness of time can't
hide the memory of your beauty.
Burn the sensation of the kiss
shared deep into my soul so that
the immortals may envy.
Envy the warmth and sweetness of a love,
more desired than any found on earth
or in the heavens.
