How long I have
Watched and waited
As warm sweet rains
Caress silk petals
Causing your blooms to rise
Searching, yearning
For me I dream
Your beauty does radiate
To lure me near.
And then, you gaze at me
As though I were your sun
Honoring me with your eyes
I will then be bright
And shining for you
My wild sweet flower
May you ever be
Strong and beautiful
In my light

This reminds me very much of Sonnet 54 (I'm pretty sure that's the number anyway) by William Shakespeare.
I admire it but it sort of implies the love spoken of will pass away, that it's temporary, just as the object you used to compare it to: flowers.
