One Day
This life may only be temporary
But it’s the only place I know
One day when I go to heaven
I will look upon the earth below
The sun will glimmer upon the golden streets
The wind will not reach our cloud ridden feet
My eyes will not shut, nor ever grow tired
My heart will not break from any desire
When I one day reach this heavenly place
I will fall to my knees and praise God’s grace!
But it’s the only place I know
