SINGLE MOTHER
Yes I am a single mother
But to me that is a blessing
Had a dad but now he’s gone
But Mommy is not stressing
Relationship issues
I don’t have to face them
And now that he’s gone
No need to replace him
That is the choice
I made from the start
Don’t need Daddy Warbucks
Breaking our hearts
Can’t risk Chester Chester
Coming in smooth
Gaining our trust
Then making his move
No extra opinions
No senseless drama
No late night hang-ups
From baby’s mamas
No psycho punks
Who like to fight
Just Mommy’s love
All day and night!

And for many, many women.....this suits them just fine! Plural becomes complicated for some. Single can be great for others. It's all about what's best for you!
