Look & See

I've looked!
What I have seen could fill countless reams of boundless books
Primary themes of vivid greens and scenes that bled in fiery reds
Viewed in hues of brilliant blues
I've watched the living and the dead
I saw the old and the new
Despite the lies, I saw the truth
For within my eyes, lies proof
Through tears I've cried, I looked!
Often mistook the signs, like I was blind
But my eyesight was good
As only I could, I prayed...
To see through haze
To see beyond things in my way
To behold what's in my face
With faith, I prayed to God and asked for grace
Let me discern between the forest for the trees
Almighty please!
As for perspective, grant me three
Hundred and sixty degrees of your perfection, in every direction
Help me perceive, O' Lord
Allow my vision to embrace these wondrous gifts of yours
Is what I saw and what I see, happening or what's in store?
There could be more, I noted
Hoping, I ain't seen everything
Until mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord
I won't be bored
I'll just be reveling from always looking forward
Peering onward, observing while absorbing
Any thing that's going on, in any form, I must record it
Whether pleasant or abhorrent, I'm moved to stare
Subconciously aware, my eyes stay opened
