A single tear
Just there
In the corner of your eye
Left to wipe it away
All alone
It turns a boy
Into a wall
Asking why???
Years of silence!
And you ask me
For just a word?!
Atone, in fear
It's there

Too drained to comprehend
You're all alone
Turns a heart
Into stone
Begging now???
Tears of rage!

What's left to be said?
That's not inside your head?
The motivation's dead
Waves of existential dread
And so, I said
Hey, fuck it while you can
There is no fucking plan
There's no need to understand
There's no need to understand
Wait, my eye itches
I'm tired of rhyming
Let's be honest
There's nothing going on in this world
That won't be going on a thousand years from now
If we don't wake the fuck up
Take a moment to process
There's nothing left to say
There's nothing left to do

i am just a simple whisper
trust me to not make a whimper
i am just a forgotten liar
just me to burn in the fire
lie awake to pass the time
tell a lie to punish mine

how to love and make this dissipate

how to raise you up and hold you there
take your sin and eat your hate
believe you know and think you care
i am nothing but a whisper
trust me to bend a knee and lend an ear
waiting to take your daily order
i am just a servant, i am your whore

I told you you wouldn't like it
But we kept playing this game
Cheating at every turn
Smiling in the face of shame
I warned you to leave me be
Stubborn and righteous
Where are we now?
Right where he left us
Nothing is for free
Not even salvation
Don't you lie to me
And press redemption
Years and years and years
The river runs dry
While my cup runs over
You're never around
To ask why
I killed your god
With the blink of an eye
The only sin to atone
Is living for a lie

If I don't acknowledge it
The sunrise and sunset are nothing
But cycles
You'll think sometimes
Life is beyond meaning
There are too many futures
After what would be
Your end
We're the, "to be continued"
The next week, the re-run
We're the yesterday of ten years ago
The classic to today's future one hit wonder
We're the necessary memory
For Christmas party invitations
You'll see tomorrow in the same side of the mirror
You're staring into ...

Masturbation
i pray so reluctantly
like begging the father
to punish sparingly
choose the switch instead of the belt
my life is a shadow
casting itself upon my dreams
my dreams are sparks
that fail to ignite amidst the rain
screaming through the phone
you only hear static
i'm just a noise
a lack of definition
six by six, concrete
silent and complete
intravenous circulation
shallow reciprocation
just another form of rehabilitation
and another fucking medication ...

Through the echoes
I will be clear
Lead me to light

Through the tears
I will scream your name
If not in vain

I've climbed this mountain
And spat from the peak
Looking down, there's nothing left
But the weak
Through the hours
I hear you echo
Loud and clearly
Through my head
Through the noise
I cut
Because you're not here

Ghosts still find me
