Lately I've felt that I couldn’t and wouldn't love anymore
In my eyes nobody would be good enough to fill the void that was left in my heart,
Suddenly all of that changed on that stormy day when I met you.
Funny thing is I can't get you off of my mind.
You’re crazy in a good way with a splash of sweet.
You keep a smile on my face and I pee a little when you tickle my feet
You took away my sadness and replaced it hope
You make me weak when I talk to you and your hugs are just enough
Now I'm writing poems about you because you made me fall in love with...

Pain
I'm glad you don't have to experience the pain that I do.
The freak out moments, the nightmares, and the weakness that plagues my mind too.
It was a rough and sad moment that I went through alone.
I wish it was easy to bottle up these feelings and leave them all behind.
It hurts even more now that you are gone.
During a time like this, some would play the empathy card
but I'll just sit here and continue to write poems, to ease my pain.
Let me ask you this, "How did you deal with the pain?"
How did deal with the loss?
Do you even care? ...

I find myself sitting alone thinking about you often
the changes and growth you've made are very awesome
not many people can handle the way your life changed suddenly
you embraced it and went on as if nothing even happened.
so i can't help but send you a few words of encouragement and gratitude I know your boys are happy to be with you, their smiles says it all when they look at you.
i bet your daughter is grateful that you were able to reconnect with her after all the drama her mom put yall through.
that night on the phone with you i heard the concern and...

Encourage Me ( My Mr. Right)
MR. RIGHT
I don't think you understand just how much you mean to me.
So let me break it down so you can see.
When I wake up in the morning you are my first thought.
With each hour that pass you cross my mind at least twice.
No one knows the battle I fought.
To keep away depressing emotions and play nice. Every time I think of you
It just lifts my spirit
I dance to a drum and I swear others can hear it.
You changed me for the better and I thank you for that

A Love Letter From You To Me
If I had my way you would be right here with me
Loving me and laughing with me, planting our family tree
You would hold my hands and stare into my eyes
Kiss me softly as you read the best love letter of all time.
Don't know why he would hurt a precious jewel
But I thank him for being a damn fool
I check on you daily to out s smile on your face.
It makes you feel good and it makes my day.
Minutes and hours may go by without words being said
always find small ways to let you know you're in my head
I shouldn't feel like this so soon...

Really Missing You
Sometimes at night when I lay down to sleep
I embrace myself and I start to think.
Imagining you lying beside me
Hugs and kisses all over my body.
Wish you could really be here to whisper, I love you in my ear
I would turn around and say, I love you too
But will it ever be true?
So I turn around and wonder some more
Still wanting your embrace
I close my eyes and picture your face
End up dreaming of you and in my dreams it seems so true.
It's as if I can really feel your kisses against my lips.

You're always on my mind especially when we're apart
Your love is like a carving with letters engraved in my heart
If anybody were to ask me why do i love you so much
I would turn to them and say it started with your touch
Which led to a marvelous conversion
Of two great minds becoming one
It's the tone of your voice that keeps me lifted up
That big smile you have, i just love so much.
