POEMS AND SHORT STORIES
Poet Introduction
With mirth and laughter let old wrinkles come.
Dark World Within
a fate indescribable in a world in ruins
silence echoes where laughter once peals
grey skies over chaos remnants
in slumbering sleep the world that was
in cities of wandering ghosts
shrouded in clouds and memories
lost as in roads overgrown
nature return in its natural claims
Vibrant gardens replaced by despair
birds song now brittle in decay
seeds of discontent sowed in pathment cracks
roving around without feathers
the night is pierced by no stars
not aglow within ashes
whispers in a world reborn ...
silence echoes where laughter once peals
grey skies over chaos remnants
in slumbering sleep the world that was
in cities of wandering ghosts
shrouded in clouds and memories
lost as in roads overgrown
nature return in its natural claims
Vibrant gardens replaced by despair

The Whispering Waterfall Part 1
A long time ago, when we were young children, my parents sold their rubber plantation as they wanted to tend paddy fields. They bought a piece of land with four acres of paddy fields.
The house that my parents built was at the side of a hill, with a beautiful water source. There were two waterfalls there with one that was so beautiful and cool that we frequented the place as children. We could stay all day there if our parents didn’t call us to come home.
I always felt that the waterfall was in a mystical forest, thevhauntingly beautiful waterfall was known as Whispering Falls. In...

My Poetry
My poems
are whispers woven by rainbow threads
words stitched with starlight dusts
golden showers from starlit skies
autumn leaves dancing with the breeze
a tapestry of dreams unfolds from pockets
where beauty beholds magic showers
My poems
are silver streams that softly flow
fireflies and flowers in moonlit Eden
melodies sung by angels
on flower petals singing tale magical
petals of roses in colours of rainbows
wonders so vast with so much treasures
My poems
conjure up mountains castles of...

Druids to the Dryads
they say whispers dwell in ancient woods
when the earth populated by playful gods
then druids walked with wisdom
assuring spirits of nature's abundance
congregating neath boughs of trees
tall and towering leafy canopies
they sheltered spirits that dwelled
within their embraces so ancient
they guard the realms with staffs of oak
while dryads dance in sunlight's glow
laughter light with shimmery skin
in emerald skirts they dance and bow
they say that when twilight appeared
they merged as one in magical ebb ...

Under the Linden Tree
the river crystal clear spiritual shadows entwine
keeping deep sorrow a story almost divine
a baby girl lost in a woman memories trapped
of being lost in the depth innocence still wrapped
the echoes and memories of a linden tree
branches low caressing the ground tenderly
the soft earth beneath cradled her baby form
covered in embrace of wildflowers swarm
she remembers the stream in her dream
the cool crystal clear water where she fell
the cool breeze on her as she was thrown
by her mother into where the fishes dwell

Inspired by You
the songs of the wild his doorsteps
reigns within his own kingdom
holding his sceptre and the crown
worn invisible on flowing locks
companion on the sandy shore
waves incessantly crashing
gentle zephyr on his brow
walks with me on poetic moonlit stroll
Quiet but always there
friend and stay in times of woe
phone calls across continents
curator of my scribbles
a caring hello...telepathic touch
of a kindred spirit
lift his aloneness a little
the smile on his lips linger longer
to all...

For Ajay
Where dreams come true
with a dear friend like you
dwell with a heart so light
soaring with such grace and might
your laughter in sweet refrain
answer my thoughts without disdain
dancing on rainbow’s train
as each step Muse’s shines
such a land of wonder to play and roam
chasing the hues of sun warm glow
playing chase under Moon’s silver beam
with you there is no fear
my companion in Maya so dear
let’s greet every day with cheer
in poemland full of wonder and delight
soar on eagle's wings in poetic...

Flashing Lights
when the twilight is a fading glow
beacon of life tell a tale of woe
the star is now a distant light
the fading glow signaling night
once strong stark and bold
standing as a sentinel with stories told
of bravery with audacious breath
never minding there lurks death
dances of love rhythmic embrace
not seeing shadows on fragile face
moments not seen, lost and found
thinking love last forever no end
with the zenith of the sun
reaper will make his stand
a smile a wink and a guiding hand ...

Tale of the Rainbow Girl
.a tale my own shaman grandmother told
long ago in the times of yore
when earth was young and pure
lived a girl with her shaman grandmother
in a village far away from the others
strange with yellow hair and white skin
pink green eyes thought to be a product of sin
parents left her and went far away
to live life anew away from her
she was fey and saw them all
little people, spirits and rainbow folks
her grandmother knew she was special
to one day inherit her shamanic gifts
the girl she met a...

Grace's Life's Journey
Over mountains through valleys deep
under shadows where secrets sleep
finding joy in morning light
facing adversaries fierce or slight
dancing with the wind with heart aglow
climbing the peaks looking down below
going down the valley where wildflowers grow
storms may come path twisted and bend
but every path a poem penned
Happy smiles on sunlit days
quiet strength when happy strays
journey on through rough and bright
In gentle acceptance, she embrace the night
Living on through thick and thin
this Grace so...

The Fourth Estate
the ink like blood flows thick
seeping and bleeding onto whiteness
innocence trapped within cracks
flowing in glee into unread stories
chasing whispers, screams and laughter
in thin air imagined a killing fields
ever alert eyes and ears ever eager
a vulture to news picking the carrion
there are truths and lies assumptions
to be untrue for the masses but the rest
wants the white bone to shaved off flesh
to scrutinize to grumble about or to airy chat
headlines scream blatantly on the screen

Dreams of Autumn
aeries in glades continue to dance
to memories of sunny days and blooms passed
but darker shadows are arrived
mantles to the spirit of Fall
the sighs of breeze through the trees
shedding their beauty to the ground
standing stark among evergreens
with branches like anguished claws
warmth of the hearth embrace
call the beloved to their home
watching the last leaf of autumn
makes it way to the ground below
to memories of sunny days and blooms passed
but darker shadows are arrived
mantles to the spirit of Fall
