Everything Burns Chapter One
Hell is not like it is depicted in the myths. It is hidden in plain sight. We are the oil leaders who make a lot of dollars for setting fire on dead things but in the basements of our factories are gateways to the huge mansion my employer, I mean father, lives in with his wife, Persephone, and two of their three children, Macaria, Melinoe and Zagreus. Melinoe had jet black eyes, short black hair, and lips of pink blossoms, took after her... Our... Father and was stunning at the age of 28. Macaria, unlike her sister, had long strawberry blonde hair, silver eyes, and lips of Rubies and looked...

The Story Of Me
Intro
My name was Jamie, I was your regular teenage girl. My blonde hair flowed down my back in a waterfall of waves, my blue eyes glistened in the light every time I smiled. I can still see the people I loved, my mother and sisters, my soon to be fiancé. But this isn’t the story of who I was… This is the story of how I lost everything I was.
Chapter One
I wake up to golden rays landing in my bedroom through the saffron curtains hanging in my window. I sit up and look around, my room is the same as it’s always been....

Everything Burns Prolouge
Heated crimson blood runs down my face like tear drops as my sword stabs through his heart and he starts coughing up the sticky liquid. The last breath he will ever breathe comes out in a huff. His lifeless orbs roll back into his skull. "Return to the stars, mea lux." I say to my last hybrid member. My eyes threaten tears as I realize I am truly the last of my kind. My phone vibrates distracting my thoughts. I clear my throat and answer. "Is it done?" Knowing who it is, I slowly nod, “Yes, it’s done” I mutter softly. "Good, now, come back to the castle. " He commands, he doesn’t ask...

Free at last
My heart pounds rhythmically
As I push myself to go faster
I look back to where I left
Wondering if I should return
No, Don't go back..
Please... Don't go back
I beg myself inwardly
The memories hit me
Just like he did
Over, and over, and over
The pain still seems to linger
Even if its been a day or two
I couldn't take it anymore
I begged myself for years
To leave his tyrannous house
Though I never had the courage
Each day I contemplated
Waiting for the right moment
And this...

Obsessed Over You
Like the venom,
which never kills its snake,
Your love is like the oldest wine,
which is impossible to make,
Your voice is like the Hamlin's pied piper,
which makes me desperate,
Like Krishna's flute,
which even God cannot fake.

Before I Was a Mother
Before I was a Mom -
I slept as late as I wanted and never worried about how late I got into bed.
I brushed my hair and my teeth everyday.
Before I was a Mom -
I cleaned my house each day.
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.
Before I was a Mom -
I had never been puked on - Pooped on - Spit on - Chewed on, or Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and My thoughts.
I slept all night.

I never held...

Mommy's Little Man
Sitting watching shows today
With my little man smiling
Only four months old
And I promise my dear
That this life I've given
Must have been sent from heaven
I've never been happier
Than I am sitting here
With mommy's little man

My Life As A Teenage Werewolf Chapter 2
I startle awake, “What the fuck!” I shout as I slap a large, black and orange carrion beetle off my arm. I take a look at myself. My clothes are ripped and covered in blood. The ground around me is covered in dirt and the walls seem rough. That's when the memories of the night before flood into focus. I can’t believe that happened… What am I going to do..?
I shoot up and run out of the cave, my body protesting with every move I make. The oak trees around me all look the same, from the broad leaves to the moss growing on them. I remember Marianne teaching me when I was a child that if...

My Life As A Teenage Werewolf Chapter 1
Marie, It's time.” My adoptive mother, Marianne, calls from outside my dressing chamber. I hear the metal door leading to the arena slide against the concrete floor. The scarlet curtain which cover it sways, begging me to cross its threshold.
“I know…” I whisper under my breath. “And my name is Kiisha, not Marie.” I take one last look in the mirror. My burgundy hair is pulled back into a neat ponytail, only a few strands hang in my face. I am wearing a strapless black dress with a slit down the side, as is our family tradition.
“Kii-Kii, Kii-Kii” The crowd shouts in anticipation...

A Mere Minute
I got home last Monday
A smile on my face
Joy in my heart.
But that didn't last
More than a minute
Now everything is gone
My so-called true love
My trust in family
The happy ass songs
In a mere minute
A "normal" conversation starts
A few simple pictures
Underwear, Skinny dipping, Sex
These all broke me
In under a minute
In few mere minutes
Everything I possibly had
Didn't seem to matter
So I said goodbye
For another fragile minute...
A smile on my face
Joy in my heart.

Reoccuring nightmare
I stand in a dark room, a florescent light bulb hanging only inches above my head. My eyes dart around, trying to discover where I am. The only thing I am able to make out is another light on the far side of the room.
"You'll never see him again" Someone whispers into the darkness, the words bouncing off the walls.
"Wha-- Who?!" I call into the darkness around me, trying to find the source of the voice. Suddenly, he shows up, shaggy brown hair plastered to his forehead. "J-- Jerred?!" I try to run to him but my feet will not move from where they are. I...
