The Story Of Me
Intro
My name was Jamie, I was your regular teenage girl. My blonde hair flowed down my back in a waterfall of waves, my blue eyes glistened in the light every time I smiled. I can still see the people I loved, my mother and sisters, my soon to be fiancé. But this isn’t the story of who I was… This is the story of how I lost everything I was.
Chapter One
I wake up to golden rays landing in my bedroom through the saffron curtains hanging in my window. I sit up and look around, my room is the same as it’s always been. My desk is cluttered with homework that I have yet to complete, the shelves wrapped around my room are full of books that I have read hundreds of times.
“God damn it!” The shout brings me out of my morning splendor. “Jamie Chyanne, where the hell are my boxers?!” I know immediately that it is going to be a bad day, it’s always a bad day when my step father starts by yelling at me. I step out of my room cautiously, wearing only my batman night shirt and a pair of my boyfriend’s shorts. As I walk down the hall I can see him, tall with blonde hair and blue-green eyes full of fury.
“So, where the hell are they huh?” He begins to storm over to me, fists clenched. Without speaking I walk past him and into the living room, the LED light blinding me. I reach down to the laundry basket next to the hall and grab a pair of his boxers, handing them to him and then turning back around. “There, now, I need to get ready for school” I mutter under my breath as I close my bedroom door.
