SELF POEM

No where to Hide
never in life did I imagine
a time
a place
where I would be missing the very things from my life that I pictured having
I don't have
So I weep
Long nights and
hide my face
in the darkness
so no one can see these fresh tears that fall on my cheeks
and down onto my pillow case
I slide into a recollection of nostalgia
and face the very things I feared one day I would have to face
Dreaming of the very things that I could have had
Insisting it can still happen
A brisk brush on my shoulders, others doubts fall to the ground
Opening...
a time
a place

Go Get It
Dreams drift and so do row boats
Life floats
onto an island of hopeless epiphany
Senseless and dumb catering to the ignorance
Running Wild
Burning Bridges
Now is a time to Bind the bridges, gap the ones that collapsed
Find your own rhythm and cruise the waves
Hop aboard
Down to voyage
Were up for anything
Young and into it all
just to say we participated
Dreams are smoke
Sit and watch other's wishes hatch
Say your different from the dozen
Why's it feel like your just a prick from the grass
Out of the rest that is...

Always There
let's disappear
Shatter our emotions like paint on palettes
Kiss until our mouths dry inside
Hug until we take our last breaths
Dead Hello
Sweet goodbyes
Crying for what
Don't know exactly why
An Idea came to mind
An explosion of all that we held in for so long
Sharp Dart remarks
KaBoom!
Looking past what's right in front of you
Missed it all along
Images of good times
Bad ones too
Rewind all our good times
Pausing
Smile cracks upon my lips
Unable to stay in this position forever

The Fear
b]Sing to me
Fill me with the sweetest thoughts
Empty me onto the floor to step on
Fill me like air into that balloon
Sending me off
Sending me up
And away from you
No one has ever brought me this high
Took me so LOW
Couldn't feel my knees
Felt nothing but Dirt
Bout the only time in my life couldn't find any liquid to quench my thirst
Searching every where but nothing to fill me up
Looking above and nothing to lift this frown
Looking next to me and no one's hand to grab
Drift back and fourth
IN and OUT of...
Fill me with the sweetest thoughts

Fb chick friendship fail
bubble gum comments that stuck to the roots of my heart
late night mash ups
Comfortable in your presence but should I be
Our conversations kept me warm and my heart as well, blanket
Not very many that placed a smile on my face
I looked forward to our chatting
And then you took to gossiping
Fore shame...I have none
I did nothing
If I had a problem I hadn't hesitated in confronting
Issues there were few but this shit took the cake
I would have spoken to you but there was honestly no room for a debate
You could have learned to shut your mouth...

Quick Love note
distance lovers is what we are
try so hard to not let what we have slip away
In dreams your love is the honey to my milk and in the flesh of reality your the realest as it gets...you cleanse my wounds, wash right over them
Your sympathy is the bandage to my aching
Sanitize my scrapes from unhealed scornful ordeals
Took your hands wiped my tears
How could I not fall in love more every step of the way
Everyday
Peace what I feel when your concern rains down over me
I can sleep knowing your on my side
No Allstate Stand needed

Neglectful
leave
let's go
I won't go alone
Not down this road all by myself
Those are the words I speak
Looking you straight in your eyes
Not much time
I can't just sit and do nothing
Seconds go by turning into minutes and minutes into hours
A decision has to be cleared
NEGLECT
Months go by
I am sitting in the same place I was
Familiar territory
And little time to recollect on all the past hardships
Detoxing my mind of all the depressing moments
How did I let all the greatest memories slip
I guess cause there weren't...

A peep of summer
I sit on a rock
Staring at clouds looking like cream swirls in a coffee mug
Look down
I see the grass move like waves of the sea in tune with a wind song
I hear loud insects in trees, rather than see
only appear in the heat of summer
And smell the perfume from budding honeysuckle
Along with the intoxicating scent of fresh cut lawn
I sit still, same place, on the rock
(BUZZ)
Wasps fly past my right ear
I fling my hand in the air to keep this bee from stinging me
Squint my eyes to adjust my vision and block out all the sun
Blue bonnets in...

Three moments I wouldn't change
9 months to carry
not another month to add on, right on time
9 cans of similac to feed
Not to count the additional cans I purchased
3 deliveries all perfect
I loved pushing, my favorite
3 times in my life I wouldn't trade or take back
Although it was tough I don't regret
3 personalities to watch morph
All so different, cute , and intelligent
1 me to celebrate this life with all 3 of you for many years to come

Erode
You erode me
washing over me
Don't you see me standing
It's like everytime you see me standing you can't wait to watch me fall
Because you know with every stand I only seem a bit stronger and bit more taller
A bit more wiser
It's like you smell the education I am attaining
It's like you feel that I am rising while your still mounted
It's like I'm flying while your sinking
You erode me
Eating away at every ounce of my happiness
Festering onto my emptiness
Non sympathetic toward me period
I have no choice but to delete...
