Struggling to make my grades, deal with finals, taking care of the house and Daddy, and trying not to think about how much I was missing Momma, I was spending extra time at the public library after school to work on my term papers. Daddy stressed to me, over and over, not to worry about him or the house. He wanted better for me than this little hollow town, deep in coal mining county, could ever offer me. He didn't want me settling down for second best and marrying a local boy, liable to die of the same cancer that was starting to spread through Daddy's lungs. He didn't think I knew, but with...

I had to find a way to do away with those Justice boys. Now one would have thought namesakes such as that had a place on this earth, but not these boys. I ain't one to do away with anything that ain't called for and these boys called for it from the day they left my hearth. Guess you can say they called for it at the moment of conception. Can't put that blame on them, it was destined to be in their blood for their Daddy was not right.

Love Caged
I've loved you for so long,
Always from afar.
Wanting, never having...
Thristing, never quenched...
My deepest, darkest desire
Lies with loving you.
Having you consume me
Eternal burns the flame...
Sparked many years ago,
Caged behind locked bars.
We met so many years ago...
Yet my yearning desire for you,
Continues to burn strong.
Killer...
Murderer...
Lables given by the press.
The truth lies behind those troubled blue eyes.
How I long to look within them again.
Love letters written long ago,
Visits under...

Forces of nature
The forces of nature
All maidens fair
Forces of nature
Life for us all
Air, the unseen, ever present, always felt
Needed for every breath to live.
Fire, the burning desire, the passion
Our love and our hate
Consuming us all
Earth, our mother, our home
No other like her
What shall we do when she's gone
Water, our blood, our essense of being
Yet polluted and unclean
With Earth we will be gone

Outside...within
I've been watching things from the inside for so long
I've forgotten how to look outside
To see where I belong
The whole wide world before me
As far as I can see
Where will this adventure take me
Who Am I to be
Adrift upon the waters
Set a sail long ago
Life always looming in front of me
Towards adventure I must go
Through whatever trails and trials lay before me
My honor, word and faith shall see me through
Strenght of Gods before me
Their wisdom leads me true
