Reality Is Mind
Reality Is Mind
The function
of the form is
to house
that function.
The form
is its own function.
The CTMU:
The back
of the head
evolved eyes
on its blindside,
knowing exactly
what it would find:
the Self-Directed,
still evolving.
Submitting
to reality
and dominating
our vanities,
we bring
all sides
of ourselves
into inner,
integrated
harmony.
The function

Tayassuidae Family, Visits
it’s 3am
the Squadron’s musty scent persists
7 adults, 2 of which Parents of
two cute foot-long “Reds”
no idea why
Javelinas congregate
just outside my front door
Perhaps it’s an Empath gig
natural attraction
Flora, Fauna…..Fae?
Whatever their reasons
a wee bit annoying
when I am ready to
start my day or
awaiting a
grocery delivery

Women in the hood are being asked to mass produce
Brothers dying in the streets have gone up instead of being reduced
The need for more soldiers has shot through the roof
Just hold your ears to the streets if you're looking for more proof
There was already wars going on before the cop brought in extra troops
All with instructions, "if he's wearing a hoodie, no questions, just shoot"
The lines have been drawn, this is a war zone
Soldiers are being killed if any sign of a man is shown
"Boy you better get down, you better not try and...

A day in a Nurses life
A day in a Nurses life
Many people do not see what a Nurse goes through each day my hat goes off to them.
The old man opens his eyes as I approach and manages a smile when he sees me.
“You again, young miss?” he struggles to speak.
She smiles and nods, checking his vitals, and fluffing his pillows. The old man is not long for this world; I hope his family makes it.
She sits and holds his hand for a few minutes, catching him up on the news, anything to take his mind off the inevitable.
As she leaves, the old man catches...

going down for the third time
we are so busy

have time to

The Green Classroom
Lying on the soil of the forest
My refuge and my sanctuary
All my senses sharpened
Attentively observing the wildlife
I become a humble student of
All the mysteries of nature
Snail shells, ferns and hexagonal
Honeycombs teach me about
Sacred Geometry
From birds, howling wolves,
Rustling leaves and buzzing insects
I get to know the harmony of music
Nature's circle of
Birth, death and rebirth
Allows me insights in religion
Trees with their strong bonds and
Supportive relationships

By the light of the fire we write
Tears refuse to fall
Words remain unspoken
The potent mind
Rusts in soulessness
The aces are held
So are the kings and queens
Held as they deal
Without faces
Everybody loses
Details, details in truth
Crash of sensibiltiy
Mowing the grass
Pulling out the flowering weeds
Sheltering the undergrowth
For reptilian love
What should be done is forgotten
What is done is murderous
What could be done, is buried
Under tons of wasted thoughts

Poetry SNOBS ...
Ink must flow in lines,
metered, measured, high-minded
else it is not art.
They sneer at free verse,
counting feet like prison bars,
locking out the wild.
Rhyme too clean? Too trite.
Rhyme too loose? Unrefined slop.
Gold melts in their hands.
Ancient names they quote,
wielding rules like brittle swords
paper cuts still sting.
Silence when they read,
hushed as if the gods had penned
what they claim to own.
Yet wind speaks in gusts,
rivers carve new paths through stone ...
metered, measured, high-minded
else it is not art.
They sneer at free verse,

Esta Narcissus
Esta a childhood friend in a crowded room
she reigns with flair thinking she’s a queen
or at least a princess with her silken hair
her face aglow with ready laughter
her smiles are wide her eyes sparkles
soft spoken but with sharp-edged words
like a whirlwind she spins her charms
behind her eyes inwardly scared
during each quiet moment she knows
she is not liked by all around
as slight drizzles as morning dew
flitting butterfly, fleeting in every round
her stories remind me of Munchausen
a trip...

Icing On The Cake
The clearest thing life has to offer
Inevitably, you will live
But without any hints or tips
One day the gonna say you are late
How many dives how many lies?
I deserve one more bite of my last pie
Before I die
Diary of a born rebound guy
Who will buy?
True or fake
Death's the icing on any cake
Do you actually know what it takes?
So always sigh deep only when the day breaks
Living, wondering when it is my due date
Let's set
But I need nor bet
We have never met
Before, but we will all die...
Inevitably, you will live
But without any hints or tips
One day the gonna say you are late
How many dives how many lies?
I deserve one more bite of my last pie
Before I die
Diary of a born rebound guy

Dumb Things Narcissists Say # 2
Come to daddy
said the middle aged man
to his senior-citizen pet
the pet looks up
then flopped back down.
The man repeats himself
then says, you know daddy
has a bad leg, like wtf?
