Concrete
Zoolike daze
your life in an
X-files maze
world issues
violence hate

the cupidity

Forest Grump
Conservatism and populism
are stupid in simultaneity
like double down loads of bumpkin jism
or Monsanto homogeneity.
Yet this is what the MAGA yokel wants
just to claim victory to be their own
in trite double down loads of tweets and taunts
no ethical mind would ever condone;
a bitter win that the ages have seen
as loss in every facet of the act
whereby the venting of a pent-up spleen
would sacrifice every established fact
which would give everyone the hope they need
to overcome the injustice decreed.

The Complete History of Poetry
Welcome to the reductive. Please relax, put your feet up, and refrain from free thought while management brings you the full and complete:
History of Poetry
Beowulf
I have a big dick
and I killed some
monsters
The Odyssey
I’m on a boat,
I have a big dick
and I killed
some monsters
Epic of Gilgamesh
I have a big boat
and a big dick,
and I want to live
forever so I killed
some monsters
Collected works of William Shakespeare
We could die
Or fuck
Or both ...

Boooooom!!!!
Excitement is not joy,only agitation.
Joy is simple peace, no over stimulation.

homeless
the night's
cold is
apparently
unaware
of what
it is
doing
to me,
it is
creeping
onto
my skin,
finding
its way
to
my bones,
and by
morning,
i may be
as cold
as the
night was,
unless the
sun can
save me.

The Way Life Goes
Sun pierces through a vast barricade of bark.
Moon filtering through the dream landscape
of the dark.
Those were the days, trees were on fire.
A blaze with the most vibrant orange.
Burning against the evergreen fringe.
Warmer on the heart than the breath of spring.
Reflecting backwards she thought
I guess that's the way life goes.
Acceptance is the secret no one seems to know.

No Time For Regret!
No time for regret that belongs to yesterday.
We cannot change what's been and gone -
So why waste the energy?
What can't be fixed might drive us crazy,
And life's too short for that!
Let's embrace it, come what may -
Celebrate a brand new day,
YOUR WAY!
A future unknown.
Haha! I'm the last person to revel in the unknown -
Anyway, it sounded good!
But hey, there is some merit in it -
Feeling excited about what's to come,
While now is simply an unwritten book.
It's easy to get bogged down fearing...

Back to Michigan
They say you can't go back...

The body of my father...a very big man

I don't know if the town had changed
in the years Dad had been gone...
as I had never been there before...
he had moved to a bigger city after Vietnam.
