A Picture is Worth...
Good morning, all, from the left coast of the USA. Sorry for the delay, I was working all day yesterday and this is my first chance to reread all the entries and make my announcement.
First I would like to thank all who contributed –

(for those whose pictures would not load on the competition, I did follow your links so I could accurately assess the picture and poem pairings)
I want to say this was not an easy decision – all of you did amazing work… but a podium must be stated so –
The Bronze goes to seekingkate for “those who hear” – the picture well suited the verse and I really enjoyed the poem
The Silver goes to eswaller for “Your Green Eyes” – the photo was exactly that Green Eye and I thought your poetry spoke directly to those Green Eyes.
The Gold goes to Jade Pandora for “Magic” - your poetry took me to a world of fairie, where the restrictions of mundane are abandoned, and the picture was a perfect depiction of that world. I looked up the title to the piece and, not unsurprisingly, it’s called “Magic World.”
Once again, I deeply appreciate all your words and contributions. Thank you for taking the time to make this a truly special competition.

I was about to turn in, exhausted, when I saw in My Updates the results! I'm so grateful for having had the opportunity, host Geoffrey, and my humble thanks to being giving the cup for my effort. And I congratulate Es & Kate for the other wins - I'm in good company!
