A PIECE OF CAKE
I'm a coffee cake
addicted to speed.
eat me on the fly
with some hot caffeine.
good after any meal
because I'm versatile
or take me to bed
and make it personal.
crumble on your tongue
sticking to your fingers
my flavor's unmistakable
and my taste is going to linger.

HOT LAVA CAKE
(firm and sweet on the outside
hot and gooey on the inside)
Each bite is like a dream
explode in your mouth
with molten cream
every mouthful you desire
a gushing burst will transpire
like a drug cant get enough
eat it slow and in the buff
then you think that will suffice
You will come back for another slice
you will want this around the clock
cus it reminds you of sucking
on candy

with pink lace trimmings
creamy and luscious
waiting coffee kisses
all ready with cherries
on top the chocolate mound
invitingly delicious
on a bed of peach jelly
lick up the sweetness
the sugar sweet
finger licking good
eat me, it invites.

Fibber.
Red dough dreams
wishful velvet thinking
disillusions to explain
the cookie perspective
many days, no food
ashy elbows, still smiled
an apparatus for sadness
to dwell and fight the
magenta feeling of hope.
No ambition to multiply
what for? I'm cursed
bomb away at my insecurities
but will continue to live
the color of blood and fire
but it's my passion and desire
that will overpower malice.
A sweet but plastic persona
in the office pondering it all
though I am not inclusive
the rhetorical guide to my soul
the battle remains jagged tail
the streets are fattening my soul
I will take a gigantic step back
bite-sized was never a preference
force me to untie the knot
after devouring four slices of life
I now feel courageous
let me take life by the horns
never to look back again.
