The Beautiful Things

Let Her Bloom

A rosebud hides in her beautiful stance
Breathtaking and subtle, all in a glance
Don't pluck her blush off prickly throne
Before she blooms pink and fully grown

Nature's Colored Collision

surrounded isle in silhouetted palm trees
twilight wraps rock in throbbing contrast
stark unease in tropics southerly breeze
Caribbean gels transform deepened swells
ebbing slow pulse pours upon darkened sands ashore

loud against flamingo feathered flesh
biting mirrored moon in cool shaded curls
slewing swoons shadow stealth.. caressing wet
infectious din it's own symphony that swirls
colors collide and camouflage in natures nest
jungle vibrates life, exotic birds, tree-climbers
sing-chatter call, in all spectrum's light so stirs

swimming micro-strobes in miniature immersed glows
iridescent shrimp shimmer shift, sharing with quivering translucent fish
Coral Clowns and Pilots pivot and pull peacock paraded schools
stained ink.. glinting calypso paints wink through their misted milky way
placid pool of lagoon spools spin water whirling wind-capped waves

kaleidoscopic chaos reigns a berserk rainbow's wrath
angry fire yelling, searing screams relentless rage obscene
snowing ash, floating cinder flameout flash
cobalt lightening cracks, illuminating graphic zigzag gash
glaring flares, streaming scares super-heated tears.. fissures flow
scorching neon slides glowing, swallowing sinuous serpents jagged path
hissing harsh as lava laps and dies from the ocean's kiss.. extinguished rock writhes

spitting sea, singing steam spews hellish spouts
poisonous pyroclastic flow avalanches fast
exploding echoes reverberate.. rumbling over within loud growls
vomiting volcano breaks boulder bombs bathed in fire's blood
spewing titanic tracers from God's mountainous mouth

falling sky, appalling clouds billow boom forever far.. as calms' desire was
ricocheting fireballs stupendous suns plunge away
clashing against stygian plumed horizons of..
apocalyptic purge releasing fury's fray
raining riot of molten cries.. scarring the tar sky

Simple Joys

Greener grass
Tiny baby leaves
New growth for all

Delicate wings
Pastel color
Fluttering across flowers

Leaping legs
Quirky little face
In and out of water

Warm sun
Bright blue sky
Nature shyly awakening



Sneaking out
Heart pounding
Beat up pickup truck

Long walks
Holding hands
Kiss under moonlight

Midnight parties
Sipping on vodka
Making love in the dark

Me myself and I
Childish fun time
Playing in the summer rain



Huckleberries
Growing wild
Eating off the bush

Vibrant color
Painted canopy
Falling of leaves

Back steps
Cool air
Surrounded by cats

Scary nights
Harvest festivals
Food for giving thanks



Cuddling weather
Under a tree
Brown leaf carpet

Crisp cold
Chilling winds
Wishes for snow

Tight hugs
Keeping warm
Playing with fire

Hot cocoa
Christmas mistletoe
Cheerful reds and greens

My Rock N Roll Queen

The sound of guitars and drums
A flawlessly powerful combination
With the voice of a dark angel
Got me held in an idolizing fascination

Orgasmic tones seep through her voice
Like the sweat beads on her brow
On stage in her element, she's hotter
Than any strip club princess
That rough perfection in her growl

Bringing it home with the high notes
Hitting me deep in my intoxicated soul
We both feel the music like its a drug
We're addicted and we can't get enough

Beautiful things

Beautiful things flourish better when left to roam the earth freely
Animals in the wild ,their beauty is incomparable
But once held in captivity their lifespan seems to shorten
They are more at peace when  left in the wild
Magnificent  colors glisten and shine in the sunlight
Radiant colors shimmering and bright
Colors that marvel the eyesight at a glance
Beautiful colors blending with the earth tones of the fertile soil





There is no such beauty as the rose
Roses grow ,
bloom
And strive between thorns so thick
Still they climb higher to rays of the sun
Petals of red
Pink
And white
Float to earth making the soil rich with each leaf
Nature hang these plants in the air
As the rain strengthen their roots
Making their very existence strong
As the roots burst through the earth xylems suck water granting the rose
longer  life
Once picked the flower dies that very second
Leaf shriveling and drying
Stems withering
vanishing and rotting
Before the naked eye



Lifeforms on earth strive better when they are free
Growing in leaps and bounds
Exotic birds spreading their wings in the wild
Allowing nature to take it's course
Beautiful life forms embraced by humanity
Making heavy hearts leap for joy
Such beauty and brilliance add joy to this not so beautiful world
Still man's greed makes the wild and all therein on the verge of extinction
When they are gone the beauty of this world will no longer be seen
Life's beauty continues to disintegrate
Perish and die
Greed makes beauty extinct
Life would be lost without the
Matchless beauty of the wild
Such beauty would exist
Longer
If we cherish life .
