I´m boiling the tea you bought,
it´s important to brew it perfectly
The book is almost complete
while mine has barely begun
The park wasn´t as beautiful
as I kept telling you,
but it will be
There were no protests in Sol,
just shoppers scurrying around
like crazed glassheads
I´ll eat alone tonight, again
with the perfectly brewed tea
you bought for me.

Differnt colors of warm sun beams playing on my skin,
long and short wind chimes singing softly in the wind,
the sweet smell of Mountain Laural,
and the hot taste of tea that fixed just right,
the simplisity of the stars twinkleing when i gave up on them in the middle of the night,
When my mother and i talk and laugh togther
When my sister and i dance around the house singing to the radio's songs
When i get a smile from my lover and be held safely in her arms
...And when i finish a poem that i figured out later was just to dam long =)

Happiness is a fallacy
Cuz in actuality
No one is truly happy in reality
The delusional illusion tricks people into being happy
When was the last time EVERYONE was smiling? Exactly.
It's only a psychological decoy
To allow weakness to deploy
When sadness comes to destroy
And allow it to become devoid
Of any optimistic emotion
It's a mental explosion
Only to let weakness start exposing
Because every good mood can be ruined
But for sad people, happiness is only an illusion...

- A Child’s Song -
A Song about Innocence
Playing on the porch, not a care in the world,
A child knows so little of the pains we endure.
Yet their hearts are open, and they understand!
It’s sad those years don’t last; they run like sand.
Sand in the glass, and time flying by too quick…
I want to slow it down, and make the sand stick.
I’ve lost too much, and I’ve cried far too long,
Yet once I was a child, and I sang a child’s song.
Rainbows and day glows, and nursery tales,
Fighting with pirates on a ship that always sails.
These are the times that we don’t want to lose,
Because once they are gone, we cannot choose.
Dancing in the grass, seeing castles in the clouds,
A child doesn’t care about all the bustling crowds.
Yet their minds are open, and they learn in time…
It’s sad we can’t keep them innocent with a rhyme.
Rhymes in the wind, and the wind blowing fierce…
I wish the wind could take us back to simpler years.
I’ve become so lost, as the wind blew me along,
But within my heart, I’m still singing a child’s song.
Rainbows and cartoon shows; places to see,
Exploring the world, and sharing good company.
These are the times that we don’t want to pass,
Because they are precious, we want them to last.
Wishing on a star, seeing all the universe above,
A child flies there with a spirit as pure as a dove.
Yet their imagination is open, and they fill it all up!
It’s sad if we forget tasting our first ice cream cup.
Memories fade so fast, and new memories arise…
I want to hold on to them all; savor each surprise.
I’ve learned so much; I know right from wrong,
Though I can still go back and sing a child’s song.
Rainbows and hair bows, and rock and roll,
Hanging out ‘till midnight, dancing out of control.
These are the times that we don’t want to end,
Because hearts break so easy: so hard to mend.

There's no path nor thought, no word nor look, no gesture nor texture that'll break the lake of memories in the world.
Sadness comes to neglect; so does happiness but it lasts in memory . Whenever an aura of negativity engulfs one, there'll always be a slight breeze that'll uplift fallen shoulders . Are we not all happy at some point, some-time ?
Happiness doesn't have to be ever-lasting it just has to be present, like the flowers that blossom in Spring but die in Autumn to be reborn once more .
Everything cycles and recycles, just so we could embrace what we lost in the near future . Does an ant complain when it works ? Does it not reap rewards to gain pleasures ? Does it not exploit the pleasures to exploit itself once again ?
Happiness be all that makes one content ! The new shoes, her smile, his words, the kids, the beer's-slight intoxication or over; the pool of beauty, nature and its entities, your hard labour and the memories you have .
Can we really tell what happiness is ? Can there be a fixed conclusion as to what it is ? The stars might tell what it is, you can see it by their glow at times, the grass can tell us, you can see the green it has at times, even the dog can tell, you can see by the wiggling and giggling tail it has at times, the definition is indistinct but the experience isn't . Happiness is . . . You .

It Shall Rise
In the absence of dismay
When sadness has emptied
And the surface is wiped clean
Of excrement and rust
Of entrails and filth
There, in the nothingness
Resides a glimmer
A scent of what came before
Unclouded by hate
By hopeless wandering
It shall rise and know itself
Free to bask in the light of day
To harvest warmth from the morning’s chill
When the frost on the frown has dripped away
Happiness wears a grin
That extends for miles
Across the distance
Over the horizon
Where finally
It pierces my heart
In the absence of dismay
When sadness has emptied
And the surface is wiped clean
Of excrement and rust
Of entrails and filth
There, in the nothingness
Resides a glimmer
A scent of what came before
Unclouded by hate

"Eyes Of Green Mecury"
Guess I figured this out a while ago,
still laying in your sheets made of dawn.
The moonlight tied around your back like a bow,
you're the only thing that makes me feel I belong.
Heat of the covers under time and space,
your lips like petals in that pile of dry leaves.
You spark me up like I've been drinking mace,
my voice slightly trembles you're the only one that believes.
I feel like the sun when I'm with you,
like nothing ever went wrong in my life.
But I guess it's something you always knew,
maybe you could get me away from that knife.
You're made of glass,
your eyes made of green mecury.
There is nothing I'm not ashamed to tell you I won't collapse,
everytime I go to your house I'm always in a hurry.
It's funny,
I'm usually not happy.
But when I'm with you,
I find what happiness is.

Faces poke thru the haze
linger and in a flash fade away
They peer down
Vitreous
like fleeting images from a reverie
in the last continual blink
before daylight
They
dive
sink
pierce
the viscous layer
analogous to a placenta-
only more picturesque
Muffled voices and
broken strings of words tease
the sensory breakdown
s e n s u o u s l y
All attempts at movement
are cut short
the kinetic curfew
being seemingly adamant
Childhood memories come gushing with
bright silhouettes and
laughter and
swaying fields
A stone is dropped
into the pregnant lake
Plink
it says before being lost
in oblivion
as the water swells with secrets
The pigeons coo
in post coital bliss
The dying rose shines
its diamonds
and the new born sun
sheds its lethargy
A hand caresses as I watch myself
revolving in trance-
a tranquil frenzy
like a swirling Sufi dervish
A voice calls out my name
a distant whisper
A supernova bursts
and I sink into space
The low song of the sea
tantalizes me
and an avalanche of imagery
blasts the embankment
The caterpillar oscillates
mid air
and the rusted iron gate
creaks into motion
A liquid touch
followed by scalding coldness
and muffled voices
overlapping with
the screaming silence
weave a tale
I can't quite decipher
Someone slices the silence-
a hazy figure in monochrome
The sun explodes a touch away
in an oriental hum
I smile while being showered in
tangible beams
lost in the continual realm
of reality and dreams
Realization dawns
and a sheet blocks the world as
I
fritter
fight
get freed
rise
above the white sheet-
permeated with the stench
of innocent stupor
peals of laughter
flimsy balls of fur
filtered shards of light
A tug and
a silvery reflection
The lost umbilical chord
Phoenix deconstructed.
Truly epic wish I could give you two trophies loved every second of this
