Like Birds Who Spread Their Wings

Feel the way the air caresses your skin and hair
Like a gentle whisper that soothes the soul
The sweet scent of nature can elate your spirit
When the taste of noble candor takes a hold

Like birds who spread their wings in the firmament
Flying free amidst fields of clouds and hazy dreams
The sound of liberty and peace is on their shoulders
Relishing in the ease of these motifs and themes

The coolness of open skies will uplift and energize
With breaths of life that feed the heart and lungs
Like hums and vibrations echoing through time
Where limitless possibilities soar and run

Let your senses feel and reel in the ether of nature
When visions of hope and promise come alive
Hear the breeze speak to you beyond nomenclature
And you’ll experience the real freedom of the sky

God's Closet

Lay down your limitations
and reach above---
how much can the sky, hold?

Can you feel the rain
and rungs on Jacob's ladder?

Or the tingle that preceeds
thunder?

The rush of air
beneath bird's wings
and the manna that fell on dry deserts.

Push aside their chemtrails--
they are no match
for the heat of the sun
and blessings that drop
into our souls , from above.

Do you hear the breath of God
as winds blow
dandelion puffs
across your skin?

Ignore the roar
of bombs and plane engines
warring in heavy air--
they fall to the sea
and are swallowed up in defeat.

Raise your arms,
O, raise them and receive--
all that awaits in the storehouse of Heaven!

You need not sight
to know it's there, only
faith to touch the sky
and hand of God.

Caerulean Warmth

paint I the words instead
when sight eludes a treasure trove
of the many wonders that reside
in boundless fields high up above

there high above dreams may take flight
with puffy clouds as hopes and fears
collide and embrace so tight
above the canvas wide imagination soars

vast and grand the skies above
it is the honey warmth on your skin
the coolness of a breeze in puffs of breath
that evoke that gentle touch felt within

with your mortal eyes you may not see
your spirit's sight will always be free

On the skyward elevator

Put down the pale stick
Ceased the tap and the click
Felt the jet pack on my back
could I fly unattached
carried aloft
for if you are blind, left one sense behind
a firmament behind closed blinds
whispered braille, felt it lift the dark veil
dissolving menthol lozenges, that canopy invade my core
images defined, paint on the blank mind
carried aloft on the song of a bird
as Eros was lifted before he returned
as the pull of a kite that tugs on your hands
escape terra firma, free gravities clamp
imagination free rein, a hot air ballon
the seas truest reflection and carries its ink
and feeling are floated and fly unrestrained
as you rise through the horizons
footlights glare, the theatrical stage
below the firmament, sky from edge to edge
the backdrops and fly screens of the world
painted with weathered clouds
cower through drum rolls of thunder
stung by hail, swarm like violins pizzicato
the elevation of senses. shutters with images
projected, poetic magic inscribed
all other senses provide
where love lets you soar, just holding hands
the sky my boudoir
each kiss a sparked star, no planetarium can hold par
Jesus touched my eyes
with sight fantasized

MY DEAR BLIND FRIEND

The sun is so immense
You can feel its greeting
As you look up to the warmth sense
That you feel on your face, so pretty...
The world is grateful for its presence

The sun also known as a star
Imagine it, as what shape or color?
The way it solely sits on the sky
It's amazing its existence, more during summer
Looking down on you to just say hi.
"That's right", just wave at it and smile like never.

Many shapes happening up there
Do you feel that breeze?
"Ah"... So heavenly, sniff its clean air...
Clouds move as you breathe.
I see a heart forming it wants to share
Feeling that vibe energy deep underneath

"Let's show our hearts with our fingers!"
"Yes, there you go"...
It still embraces us, how it just lingers
Let it show, let it know!!!
"Friendship and love, that forever delivers"
Now say, I love you so.....

Birds fly gracefully
Not thinking of anything
But to be almost as if swimming
 like fish beautifully
Except for, no water but gravity and their wings

"Yea, yea"... flap those arms...
"Let's fly to the horizon"
Where destiny never harms...
"Let's fly with species in a dozen"
For we never have to stop until we see a farm

"If only you knew"...
-How it's so beautiful-
Same shade as a sea's hue
If you imagine what color, that is to you...
You'd dance in delight to see its truth

Now understand that the sun
Following times law, that will soon be gone
So bright that eyes can't see
Hot like nothing else that could ever be
The temperature is ineffable to it's degree

The time is 6 pm as the sun sets to a low lamp
Giving the horizon a new cram
A skysill to fill the space from day to night
Getting darker by the minute to soon be AM
No more sun, no more light ...

Now my dear amazing best friend
It's over our time and has become late
"Yes that's right yawn", me too, let's go to bed...
Let the stars and moon give a new translate
To transcribe its subliminal poetic stanza before dawn transcends.
