Outcast Among Outcasts
I don't hold up well in public conversations
I have trouble thinking what to say and even worse, what not to say
I'm often distracted while pondering your impatience
The second I start talking you move on to something else
Like I'm just a pesky fly in your nightmares
Have one look at me and you'll see how I don't last long in conversations
Like an outcast among outcasts
It's not my scarred face but my lack of meaningful expressions
And it's fitting because nobody even cares
Their confusion is just a ruse that adds to my next hesitation
Making everyone check out of the conversation right then and there
Now when it comes to online writing I'm not much better
If I wrote about the peaceful sound of spring
Followed by a borrowed quote from Shan Xing
Would that be a good place to end everyone's suffering?
No!
Because it pains not only you but also me
In a more than likely hollow image of a translated silhouette
To see such brilliant words placed next to my cringe, wall of text

More a window smasher
Don’t believe the hype
No sweet thing here
Caustic through and through
Science put me in a box

What’s inside
That’s the trouble
Perception breeds contempt
