I apologise for dominating your thread Ajay.
But the end is in sight…..

From front to back:

- the problem Lamy
- the Schaeffer
- jinhao or something, a part of a set of 12 for calligraphy
- a Parker oblique
- lamy oblique b
- pelikan b
- pelikan really B
- lamy straight 1.5
- twsbi (room of the 3cultures bi=pen) where swollen slogans are en vogue

In the twsbi a 1.2 oblique

I write a new song every day I’m at home. All the lyrics are written with one of these pens.

May your days be merry and write….

And thank you so very much forhelping out, Ajay.

Kind regards, Gus

Hi, Gus.

I'm glad you mastered the pic-posting stuff. I love all your pens. There's loads of character in those battle-scarred veterans.

Those inks are good, too. Of the ones you posted I have the Peach Haze and the Writer's Blood. With a name like Writer's Blood, it was just impossible to resist. 🙃

Keep writing.

Hoi hoi
I love your pens.
And your handwriting. At the same time gentle and will power. Please forgive the clumsy description, but you being you I’m convinced you knowwhat I mean.

A few examples of my handwriting will follow.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Kind regards, Gus

I have a ‘multi map’.  I believe a Dutch A5 format thing for scholars. There are 23 rings that click open or close, and in it you can put white paper, paper with lines in all sorts and millimeters, squared, for musical notation etc etc etc.

Mine is always filled, with pen and (when trekking) with a pot of ink.
I use it to jot down ideas for lyrics.
Seven ideas per page, for 2024 163pages so far.

This is written with the Jinhao. It says 1.1 on the pen.maybe an Asian 1.1?
1.3 or 1.4 is more like it. I like this pen though…..

Most of what I write is Dutch. My English lyrics always seem to be a bit watered down compared. That’s why I love doing coops.

The Pelikan B
Caused by the very soft material of the pen, there’s a very little calligraphy effect.
I’ve been told it used to belong to one of NL’s famous writers. He had two of these pens. A man who did shows on TV with what we would call stand up comedian right now. Someone from the audience would call ‘Sinterklaas’ and he would make a very dry humorous story of it.

Sinterklaas is not the old geezer of Christmas. His birthday is the 5th of December. Dead centre of Amsterdam, there is still a Sint Nicolaas church dedicated to him.

So in short, I have no clue what the ‘age’ of the pen is. But it writes like a dream.

In both cases Saragossa Sea by Diamine.
Kind regards, Gus

Hoi hoi
The verse form ‘Olleke Bolleke’ is rather populair in NL.
It’s the NL version of the English Higgeldy Piggeldy - double dactyl.

Since 1982 of so I used several variations of this double dactyl to include  them in my lyrics.

Many lyrics are waiting to be put to music. This one was put to music the day before yesterday.

This one is entirely done with higgeldy piggeldies.
Where V and VI serve as the chorus.

An English job as a whole since I used the English Vintage (brand) Revo with three pick ups.
It’s an English guitar. A fantastic job!
I’m actually waiting for my Watkins Rapier 44, also an English guitar.

I actually used a Rapier 33 for my Coop with FaithMaree called Loving Me.
The 44 has the same warm Silver Foil pick up tone. Really nice.

Still people stop by to listen.
The number of listens in NL alone is 9667at the moment. Not bad huh?
Greetings to Faithmaree! Success also due to your heartfelt lyrics!

Kind regards, Gus

Oblique something between M and B.

Could very well be a case of some wair and tair. Writing it wrong probably.

I had a Schaeffer pen that looked just like that. Wrote my Ph.D with it. Got lost in my travels; can still feel its loss.

@Josh
Yes, this is horrible. I think I know exactly how you feel.
The model is still available though. So maybe it’s no longer the real one, maybe replacement is an option?

Have a nice day!

Hoi hoi

TWSBI
Writer’s blood ink
If you look carefully, maybe you’ll see that it’s a tiny bit oblique. And of 1.1 size.

A bit too fine for me, otherwise a lovely pen.

Thank you. My wife bought me a nice Parker Pen as a replacement. But I find my usual black Parker 'Quink' that I keep buying is more watery than it used to be.

You probably think that i’m lying @Josh, but in 1985 my Scheaffer got lost in the mail on the way to the repair shop.

It had a oblique B pen.

To compensate me, the dealer gave me the Parker I have posted here with the Peach Shine (between reddish and yellowish) ink.

If you like the pen, what’s keeping you from buying the kind of ink with sufficient pigment?

A lovely idea from the missus!
Kind regards, Gus

By the way, the photo is not my pen. It’s just the model I had.

"If you like the pen, what’s keeping you from buying the kind of ink with sufficient pigment? "  I'm in Portugal - real/specialist stuff is hard to get - what ink brand do you recommend?
