I know you're all awaiting your awards, and WebMiss has said she is trying her best to find five spare minutes to get to them! Please be patient! xo

Your mother was wise!

I know the five-year winners are excited for their extra award!

Hey, my reward is participating in such a well-run competition and, of course, crossing the finish line for the sixth time. I still can't fathom that. that's 180 poems, 29% of my total output. So that's about 4 poems a month for the other 110 months I've been a member this go-roun.' I need to step up my game 😀

That is awesome of you to say, Ghaddess!  NaPo has become an annual staple that is looked forward to each year, and it truly warms my heart that it makes such a difference in the lives of writers here at DU. ❤

So happy to hear that, AP! That's exactly what NaPo is intended to do! Strengthen a writer! Help them to be less afraid of showing vulnerability or making mistakes. I did only 50 unique words one year, and it is a challenge on top of a challenge indeed. But I wanted to see if I could do it - and I did! And so have you! Congratulations!

Hola, Great NaPoets! Webmiss has completed your immortalization for NaPo'24! We're changing out some banners but the content has been completed! Congratulations, again, and we'll see you in '25!

While I deeply appreciate your enthusiasm and am furthermore honored that India joined us this year, that would be a HARD "Hell to the No!" on twice a year! It takes a month to get our ducks in a row ( February ), a month of registration ( March ), the actual challenge ( April ), and practically another month to get everything sorted and ready for the upcoming year ( May ).

While it may only appear one month to participants, it's actually four months for the TeamNaPo! Not counting writing every day in April too!

Believe me when I tell you we need a very LONG break after that!

You could always host a competition, Dimpy! "Post NaPo'24" or something. You're more than welcome to head it up!
