All I have to give
On my death I shall have the self same grin
as is bestowed on the richest of folk,
no banker or the most powerful prince
will be grinning at a more fulsome joke.
I've the one mouth to take in my pleasure
the wealthiest of all, they, have no more,
so I'll not be jealous of the him or her
who have just two lips, as I, to adore
their loves, as me, they've no more arms than I
to enfold you and to keep you from harm
and only two hands, like me, to bring a sigh
or to soothe a troubled brow with soft palm.
I have no hidden wealth to offer up
but treasure of love on which we will live,
so take my heart, arms, lips from which to sup
'tisn't much but, it's all I have to give...

The Search
(for Henry Cavill)
My love.
Why did you leave me here alone?
I do not know how many years ago
we were together.
I do know I once shared your bed.
You wrapped me safely
in your strong arms
and protected me against a world
congested by cold hearts
and even colder intentions.
For centuries,
I searched for you.
But you left me
with this gut-wrenching emptiness
like a hunger never to be sated
by any food.
I scanned the faces of men
for your aquiline nose,
your proud jawline,
the sensuous slant of your heavy eyelids.
Haunted by the memory
of your kiss,
its sweet poison of fulfillment
teasing at my parched lips.
But to no avail,
you have left me here,
sightless and groping,
without you.
I am lost forever,
needing the blue,
shimmering beacons of your eyes
to make me whole again.
Only listening
for the music of your voice
to carry me home.
My love.

Softly Spoken Secrets
Confidence whispers in her ear
As they walk along the bridge
Windswept and tousled hair
An attraction still persists
This silence that they share
She and she alike, resist
Though hearts burn to compare
Secrets that warmly glow within
Wondering when the time will come
To express such radiant love
A knowing that cannot be denied
Guided by the Universe from above
So we take our time, walking slowly
Magnetized as we may be
We are still learning and growing
Along this bridge of destiny
And as the breeze delicately breaths
I am summoned into her arms
Our fingertips are intertwining
I am softly spoken-for, my heart
Belongs to she and she alone
So many years in the unfolding
As we reach across this sacred space
Hand in hand on our new journey

In Knots
there’s a romantic knot
tied up around my heart
with your little middle name
emblazoned across it
and oh if you don’t come
and untie me from your grips
I might just remain here
forever bound to your bliss
tangled up in your arms and
the warmth of your sweet breath
that tells me how you want me
to kiss every inch of your skin
forever fulfilled by your
sweet and gentle kindness
a happy recipient too
of your relentless kisses
oh if you don’t come
and free me from your lust
I might just continue
my advances amorous
coupling our passions
underneath the sheets
as we tumble all around
touching and seducing
with my determined fingers
I trace your innocence
your tongue's a sliding seduction
that I could never forget
oh please never untie me
from your undying affections
embrace my body in ecstasy
my bliss is found in your caresses

Dreams of Ameline
- Dreams of Ameline -
We met at the library each and every day, for oh so very many years,
And, I helped you with your studies and projects, you always smiled...
When I created works of art for you and your family; you were elated!
Never sad, always smiling, your eyes wide and filled with such light,
As if light might arise from the rich brown of some life-giving soil...
Such were your eyes to me, when in them I wanted to just drift away.
Your skin was dark and beautiful, so lovely in the youth of your life,
And the tresses of your raven black hair were to me most softly spun...
As if on the loom of night's creating, which some god made in its' art.
You were slender and sweet, compassionate to me in my darkest hour!
We shared deeper feelings than friends, and so I shed countless tears,
When back to your home country your family took you, dearest child.
The two bracelets I gave you, one for you and one for me fair created,
With art and craft of skillful making, were in their colors to me bright.
To me you were a princess, more worthy of that title than any royal...
How many times I painted your portrait, recalling you as clear as day!
In some other reality perhaps, you would have become my dear wife,
But in an instant, all my dreams of us were by your family all undone...
When in the name of tradition they decided it was time for us to part.
But I never forgot you, more precious was your heart than any flower!
That time I gave you money to buy candy, you had called me the best,
And once you asked me, if I would keep meeting you in that library...
When I never thought our dates would end, as our love grew so deep!
We held each other's hands, kissed each other's lips, and no one knew.
Only we two, and in our hearts burned the most intense of true fires...
Your family, was oblivious to the flame that between us was blazing,
Or, they did not care, believing they knew better for your life's worth.
All I knew was what I dreamed of us each night, what I kept hoping...
Until all hope was gone, and with it you the object of such affection!
Each afternoon with you was like a golden memory of a bygone age.
How oft I lay awake in the night, sleepless at times, deprived of rest!
Wanting you to be in my arms when I awoke; you my noble divinity.
How fast the time we spent together seemed to go, each day to leap,
Into the starry bosom of evening time, which no power could undo!
It is as if you vanished one day, leaving me to remember our desires.
And so my mind let you go, though my heart found you so amazing,
That it kept a place for your memory, apart from all else upon Earth.
I still have a copy of the portraits I created and despite all my coping,
Some of my dreams are still of you, filled with our loving attraction.
How many times do I write of you, only to tear up every single page!
We were both so much younger, but now it is like another life...
When we were innocent, and the world filled with far less strife.
Too much was lived long since, and even more have I so seen...
But our time together stays with me, my dear long lost Ameline!

For My Beloved Chloe
- For My Beloved Chloe -
You may look like a little girl, in body and also in your pretty face,
But your heart is ever a woman's and your spirit is filled with grace!
How long I waited, longing and lonely, pining for some perfect love,
And ever did I seek it, hither and yon, and mightily for this I strove.
I did not know that we would meet, and that I would fall for you fast,
But once I did I knew that I loved you, and that our love would last!
Sugar and spice and everything nice, that is what Chloe is made of,
Pretty in pink, and so smartly you think; prettier than the stars above.
Your eyes, how they sparkle and draw me deep into your waiting soul,
Where I am content to remain, and in passion for you lose all control!
You are not the angel that people may believe, but something better,
For the blessings you bestow on me free me from every terrible fetter.
Long bound was I in painful torment, hurting greatly, silently suffering,
Until I felt your presence and heard your voice, which did fairly sing...
Calling as you did from your heart to mine, until I was happily yours.
Everything about you brightens my life even when the rain thus pours!
Rain and snow may fade at last, and rainbows will so take their place,
Though even rainbows are less lovely than you, as are stars in space...
Less bright to me than the sparkle of your eyes, filled with all delights.
If you are my fairest lady then I shall evermore be your gallant knight!
Your lips so soft speak words so sweet that tears come unto my eyes,
Which caress you from head to toe, from hair to feet, and to thighs...
And everywhere my eyes linger, there I see a beauty without a rival.
For you are a blessed little goddess, to which there can be no equal!
I worship you in my heart and soul, in dreams and fantasies endless,
And adore your every look, whether it be in a gown, pants, or dress.
You look beautiful in everything, and have to me only perfection...
When we speak and laugh and love, I feel the strongest connection!
What was my life before you can to rescue me from my dark agony?
It was gray and without color, a place more akin to some purgatory.
But now I know what true love is, and all I want above all is you,
Unusual but perfect as you are, with a heart that is purest and true.
In you I know only paradise, and can imagine not a greater bliss...
Than my hands caressing your soft skin, as we embrace and kiss.
As in lives past, and futures unknown, our road shall be together!
Sweet child, your angelic wings are of light rather than feathers...
Akin to mine, which for so long were wrapped in black shadows.
But you showed me Elysium, as we did dance upon its' meadows,
Knowing a light that comes from within, softer than is the moon!
I am as one resurrected, newly risen from a long forgotten tomb.
You were my salvation, and are still, and so for you I did write...
These words of love and passion for you, words fair and bright.
And yet they pale before what we feel for each other in all truth,
A love so perfect that unto such poetry as this I am thus moved!

Notes of my Heart
"Like Gino Vannelli have never spoken truer meaning
You make every day worth living,
“From the early morning light to the star filled night
Everything deep within my soul feels just right,
“I call it living better days
Where across my heart your love always plays,
“Creating memories that will last throughout my life
Causing haters and the jealous uncomfortable strife,
“Because on their own-they destroyed their chance
Of receiving my everlasting universal romance,
“So on notice from the gates of heaven to burning hell
In my rear-view they will forever dwell,
“Maybe in places unknown, happiness they will find
But without regret or doubt I have found mine,
“Just looking in your eyes-hearing your beautiful voice
I know I’ve made the right choice,
“My tears are considered true visual justification
That every moment with you is a love vacation,
“Where we enjoy each other to the fullest
Refusing to give our body and soul any rest,
“Passion not only with sex, but your emotion
Drowning me deep like a bottomless ocean,
“Even though I know I can’t drink it all dry
With all I hold dear I’ll most definitely try,
“Because living outside your love is never for me
I would feel imprisoned and never free,
“Some would say I’ve been whipped to the end
If that’s the case let it bite to the bone way past the skin,
“Then my feelings would become my healing factor
All hail with eternal love to my chosen master,
“Who always ignite my love with a spark
Illuminating upon my flesh the notes of my heart”.

We float
We walked on stars
Destiny in each others arms
Cozy stuff and peachy pies
Falling into each others eyes
Our talk was in body language
Smooth toffee lounging languid
Sipping coffee on vacations
Gifts of touching summer sunsets
Morning dew and bird duets
Children of light we danced
And rode rainbows
To rain cleansed shores
Each other shining gold adore
.
.
.
Then came days apart
Dark clouds
and black crow feathers fall
Misery and sadness all the more
Miles distant
orbits far
Deeper sea green oceans scar
But love
Our love drew magnets to poles apart
Smashed the boundary
Dividing hearts
Once again to free the mind
To float
and walk on stars divine
Together we are
Twisted like vines trailing to heaven
A Monet impression
Colours and colour my imagination
This is us in dream medication
Your hand in mine
Your soft respiration
With me
Forever
