It's the citrus season.
Photo taken in the garden today, an orange tree, only 1.5 metres tall, planted 5 years ago, bearing nice juicy fruit.

and a lime tree, also planted 5 years ago, now doing really nicely.
(btw, limes when ripe, are yellow not green. The green ones sold in supermarkets are still unripe but tangier)

Two of my favorite fruits: Oranges and limes! Well-done, Josh!

This is a picture that one of my partners, Zoey, took when we visited Stanley Park back in 2014. It is a beautiful park out in a town called Westfield in Massachusetts. When we used to live in Massachusetts, it was not too far to drive out to there on the weekends. That is me standing at the base of that tree. I'm 5'8, so that gives you an idea of the height of this tree... but it isn't the height of this tree that I find inspiring about it. It is the fact that nearby is a plaque on the ground that refers to this as a tree that "looks on Heaven". And it grows like two trees joined at a single trunk. It not only reminds me of how Zoey and I feel about each other, but it also reminds me of my own dual nature as a hermaphrodite... one thing that is also two things in one. And when I think about that and think about me and Zoey as a couple it is inspiring just how much a tree can mean to a person symbolically. You'll have to pardon the slight blurriness of the image... Zoey took it using a disposable camera and the quality was less than we expected. Even so, I cherish the pictures we took that day, it was a beautiful day! And now that we live so far away from there, I often like to look at these photos and remember just how beautiful our trips to that park were.

I love the moodiness of and the story behind the photo, Kou. There is something ancient and mysterious and yet warm and inviting.
I have a tree in front of my home that is two separate trees growing in the same manner. I think they're beautiful and are a perfect example of how two separate entities can reach in their own direction while still being connected at the roots, as I feel we all are as humans.
Thanks for sharing.

Lovely, Grace! They look like Magnolia blossoms ( state flower of Mississippi ), and a larger version of the Dogwood blooms. Except neither are as entwined as those are.
