Poetry Contest Description
Why not dedicate a piece for the awesome lady who has created the very place where all of us have come together to become a better poet??
Okay, here are the rules, short and simple,
Write a poem, for our very own Webmistress,
it should not exceed 200 words,
the theme should be clear in the title itself(title is necessary),
You can talk about your experience, here at deep underground,
Try not to be digressive, be simple and creative....
Though each piece will be a unique dedication to the webmistress yet there has to be the best one, the members can vote for their favorite poem by sending me a personal message,(Your vote should not appear publicly, so send me a personal message). I would want the members to wait till the last, read every entry and then vote for the best one.

The Dark Princess
She's the Dark Princess
of all the more
and none of a less
snappy to the core
where none of this
would ever be born
or at all exist
so we have to applaud
the webmistress
who unlocked the doors
to all the finest
poetry and prose
a round of applause
to you my friend
your the driving force
to an unend .

The one who created this playground of poets
All riddled with holes from past experiences
Coming together for an outlet of escape
Oh beautiful Mistress I thank you indeed
For the creation of this site has planted a seed
It grows everyday with additions of thorns
With you as the flower of darkened salvation
I came as a broken and shattered mind
Now put together with all of these vines
They branch out and twist to ensure our safety

You found us searching, lost and hurting
We couldn’t put our fingers on…
Quite what was missing
Lacking from our lives
Lost keys to the our locked minds
We couldn’t be opened or indeed kept sane
So You drew a map to show us our way
On an illuminated path You’d carefully cleared away
Back into the ownership of what we missed so dearly
Our thoughts and feeling back intact
We thank You greatly for nurturing us so
In Your absence we’d still be wondering somewhere alone
Lost and broken
But that’s not the case
You put this site into motion
Created this wonderful dysfunctional family
In one way or another
We owe You so much
