Losing you.
My grip was loosening
So I let go…
I tried to regain
But you had gone.
It took me to lose you
For me to see –
You are my everything
And so much more.
But we have become evil,
Poison to each other,
There is a dark discrepancy
That scares me at full force.
But please, I beg
Not today or even tomorrow,
Find me again…
Return to me what I have lost.
I am sorry.
So I let go…
I tried to regain

For me to see –

And so much more.
But we have become evil,
Poison to each other,
There is a dark discrepancy

It is not worth judging by others, but I will do it anyway.
She is everything they want
everything I am not,
Watching her perform
I know I measure short,
My eyes go red and they go green
it is not her fault, it is only me,
I tried to copy, tried to mask-
but my eyes broke through any chance of hope,
They did not see her, no part at all,
it is me that you see, my insecurities,
There is a scent to them, a tell tale sign
that I will never match, nor best
Her majesty, my enemy.
Ah, and what about her?
The first, the blessed,
courage beyond which lives in me,
I am weak and she is...
everything I am not,

Ignore the past.
Queen of imperfections,
I have no direction,
Caught upon the spider web,
I cannot escape
This same repeating fate…
Over and over it plays,
The broken record refusing to change
Only for my silence-
To once again be made,
There is only me to blame.
But I will do it, again and again,
Because you mean more to me
Than a sequence of events
These words ring true, I know they do,
I hope you learn them too.
I have no direction,

What continues to grow. (part 2)
Little Miss Black Rose woke to find herself in a plant pot
She tried to remember just how she had got there…
But her memory was absent and gone were her cares
In the plant pot she lived now, in a happy contented daze,
Her roots sucked up water and nourished her well
She did not want for anything in the whole entire world,
Birds flew over high and amused her with their flare
What had her life been, before this complete utter bliss?
But what she soon noticed was the relentless weak sickness
It tainted her blood stream and spread to her limbs,...

It is better this way.
It will be easy they said, “easy,”
Just like flicking a switch
And all your feelings will be dead,
Providing I go for the premium rate.
I found them on an ad,
‘Got problems? Buy them away!’
My answer had finally come,
Yeah I had problems I wanted them to take.
My name became top of the list,
The doctor would see me now,
“Good day, what can I do for you?”
“Can you really take them out?”
I signed along the dotted line,
Would I mind if they went wrong?
Take my life instead?
Then by all means we’ll...

Performing is easy when the audience is ignorant.
Performing is easy, I do it daily.
Put my mask firmly in place
Ready to step out onto the stage,
Where you would never suspect a thing.
It has been so simple - my one-man show
Enough to trick you, you and everybody else,
You who is never any different, not unique, and not individual,
My audience is planned you see, I picked you all.
However, you still foolishly think
That you are cast as the single main lead,
When the whole entire time I have had you seated
Front row no least…
I do not like what I do or how I act ...

Touch.
Your touch is glass covered
So I cannot feel the warmth,
I cannot even be sure
That you touch me there at all…
Absent of the anti-virus
The cold had begun to spread
Leaking into every pore
I thought my future bleak,
But not so very far away
Right beneath the surface,
Underneath the dying cells
A tingle - breaks the silence,
Your touch is glass covered
So I cannot feel the warmth
But something has begun to happen
I know your touch has come.
So I cannot feel the warmth,
I cannot even be sure
That you touch me there at all…

What I have grown.
Little Miss Black Rose went into the garden
She thought the sunlight would finally cure her…
But the darkness was not banished,
The darkness was not gone
So with grey blurring vision
And blood spraying coughs
She knew what happening, what she had done,
Using painful pinpoint precision
Its thick sharp roots had taken up and grown
Into the soil of her dear sweet head.

Thinking of you.
I cut my lip on a piece of glass
Bee stung pink parted at once,
Crimson beaded on the tender slit
Turning the liquid a rosy tint.
I dropped it - Smashed it on the floor
The shattered pieces imbedding in my foot,
But I didn’t feel the pain of this accident
I liked the prick that made me think more of you.

Rain.
I'm not proud
Do you think that I am?
Sat under this storm cloud
I could feel anything but.. that.
Drenched to the skin
Convulsively shivering in what?
Ah - that’s the bitter battery-acid taste
It’s disappointment isn‘t it?
But it’s sick pleasure
I can’t look and not feel hate
I’m not blaming you, that’s why I take the stinging ache
Because it was me that mirrored you.
Blinking out the dirty drops what now?
Does this make me a coward?
Oh, I am, we can both see it
But it’s what you made me…baby.

Eve.
Little sweet girl of rosy cheeks
Sprung from her prison finally…
Wearing her dress of yellowed bone
His ribs that were taken to give her life,
She didn’t like the debt she was made to owe
So she ripped them out and sucked them dry,
Smearing crimson around her mouth
Smiling that smile with dimpled cheeks,
She left the gates that trapped her in
But beneath her cloak was a seed of hope,
Concealed from His voyeuristic view
Nothing more than a piece of fruit,
But it was that piece of fruit she tossed to the...

Stop being such a pessimist..
Every time the sun sets
... I know it shall be back
Even in the pitch black
...Purple will bleed to blue,
Stress and panic over small things
...But they will never last
They feel so heavy, unmoving weights
...But I'll find the strength to stand up straight,
People go and walk away
...Leaving in their place another face
I miss them so much it hurts
...But they're happier now I hope,
Imperfections blind my view
...But I'm going to embrace them anyway
I'm lost in this maze of life
...I can't believe I didn't think of...
... I know it shall be back
