creativity is pulled by a cycle. learn to roll with the ebb and flow. this way you will not splash, and will be graceful in its water.

easier said than done and i know i have on occasion fought the waves. well, more than on occasion.  however i tend to rest when the tide goes out.

a commotion can be creative-destructive, but if you want to be the discerning hunter and not the violently struggling prey you must learn to move with the currents

I feel creativity is a constant...

The ability to express it is an ebb and flow...

One must learn how to surf the waves with one's words ,
not succumb to the tides , nor allow oneself to bend to
the sea of waters , or minds , demanding submission...

One can cut through currents , if one has a sharp prow , and strong engine...

Mind And Heart , as the poetic root...

I honor your opinion , Anna , yet do not agree with all respect...

I NEVER believe in "killing" ones creations...

OWN them , let them live , and if need be learn from them ,
let others SEE them , and assist them , through that , if at
all necessary , not hide your ( anyone's ) realizations...

Just my opinion...

two different methods of facing the waves: one as an engineer , with brute force,  alien to the water, (edit: though like a sailor familiar with it) the other as a creature of the deep itself. both can exist.  but black wolf my friend, watch out for the sirens

(it’s the metaphor that keeps on giving)

I know the sirens very well...I sing with them...

Let alone , I take the Meta - Four  , into the Meta - Five...

We just differ...

You are still respected

by all means, but I find that when it no longer serves me, it’s time to go, at least from the public eye. i have written some rat droppings in my time and I’ve mostly cleaned them up, because i don’t need them. I’ll kill the rats too.

i don’t mind that we don’t agree 🖤🤍

edit: in fact I think we are saying the same thing with different language. a sailor can weather a storm with skill but there are times he must take down the sails and cut the engine. an orca, the wolf of the sea, can navigate the water as if it were nothing in its way, and uses its tail to send shock waves to stun its prey.

i think, thinking about it, we both agree. we are just using different languages

Interesting...

I find every poem , every line , always serves me...

F**k the public...they do not matter to a poet
who speaks from the heart...and soul...

Those are the two things that should matter to
a true poet , not public admiration , or acclaim ,
yet what their spirit speaks originally , not what
they choose , feel , or "need" to correct , after the
"fact" or creation...

If they can not access and speak from heart and soul ,
originally , without change , or correction , it is my feeling ,
they should not write , or call it poetry...

Of course , just my feeling...

Edited to correct spelling of "heart" and another word...

Different ways , yes...

And yes , I would agree , we are speaking very similarly...

( in the language of ancient times I teach , there is a column of symbols ,
which four symbols , though rearranged in order , are an O - R - C- A ,
and by number value , equal 291...which is the number value , in Hebrew ,
for our "present" Earth...thank you for speaking of it , as the "wolf of the sea" )

I write because to not write and hold it in causes me physical pain. Sometimes I just need to let the pressure valve go.

In the immortal words of Papa BooCow:

”If it doesn’t come bursting out of you
in spite of everything

don’t do it

unless it comes unasked
out of your heart
and your mind
and your mouth
and your gut

don’t do it”

I write to express myself and alleviate anxiety it doesn't always make sense to ppl I'm not always trying to do that anyway...I'm grateful to have this platform to speak from however so my voice no matter the words expressed are heard they might move one person or no one but I am purged of them so they don't haunt me...I don't care about being blocked if the words aren't there I'm happy enough to paint...

I was just discussing with my one and only friend on here (haha) that I can't just say, "Oh I'll write something." Because it feels so forced. Like the homework you forgot you had and you have to turn it in in five minutes? I never feel like it's my best unless I'm bursting at the seems to get it off my chest. My question is... what makes you want to write? What do you do to pull it out of yourself? How can I write when I would like to write and not feel like I'm forcing something just to get a C-?
it comes.
Sometimes there's things, happenings that pull it out like a polar fix does a rabbit from under its icy burrow.
Both ends of spectrum.
Buk sed never try.
I guess he was right.

hi Liv one thing I try to do is be faithful to my muse meaning not shooting down ideas in my mind I think aren't good enough... sometimes what I write in my eyes isn't so great but it really reaches some people to me that makes it worth it...
