The Wanderer
I am often filled with nostalgia
for something that always made me ponder
The years seem to pass by in a flash
fondly remembering the paths I used to wander
The games and places left me breathless
my young fragile heart sought so many chances
The names and faces now seem ageless
as my old agile soul reminisces on romances
In many of those sleepless nights
I felt like the new dawn would never come
But as the star rose with delight
the new day brought hope under the sun
And there I’d find some comfort
as the chance to love had come again
But when the sun set in the west
the lonely night seemed to never end
Sorry, I don’t mean to ramble on
but I walked a long road of debris and dust
The everlasting longing and yearning
made me submit to my wonder and my lust
Now I listen with vague memory
for the years spent empty and torn asunder
Remembering with bitter melancholy
those strange nights when I used to wander

Music of the night
Beethoven's - Moonlight sonata
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Tr0otuiQuU&feature=youtu.be
The clouds that move in slow procession
remember, never to the earth be tied.
Pensive, waiting for the moon's progression
reflect the glow, whatever side.
As the stars small, glitter. humbly,
in major and in minor all combine,
a chorus in the lunar summary
as each day, at end, begin its prelude.
Settled twilight as the bird set down to roost
a timpani, a feather falling on the coup.
In the dimming, each mischievous sprite
see the looming shadows lengthen,
laughing, dancing in delight.
The orb begins its vernal transit
Earth, its child forever tied
in gestation rise and fall, glowing, rising,
ebbing, failing in each month, wax and wane.
To be reborn, in the show of that proclaim.
Plucking at the heartstrings, shinning brass
reflection warm yet ever cold.
In its snowy iridescence, some to slumber in its pass
others pulling down their dreams, do you suppose?
ray's so bound in pensive meanings,
the wings of romance all unfold.
Gather all the simmered angst,
benign the climb in its conduct
and to the gods we give our thanks.
Satisfy all wishes, in mystery we stand dumbstruck.
Yours and mine, a satellite that shines so bright
the encore that repeats forever
bring the music of the night

Creed: my sacrifice
https://youtube.com/watch?v=O-fyNgHdmLI
She cracks through
a crepe-paper husk of fragile memory;
her fragments scatter
where glass water shatters,
every color in her image.
My one true eye sees her --
recalls in an instant coming alight
and how she was my candle drowning
in a dream as the band played on
all the while to her tribute.
I never left her there where
she broke through my fractured skin
to remain; burned, branded
as I grew old --
I am only young where she still is.
I give myself up in pale patinas
on crevaced blank pages uncrinkled,
the story never penned there --
but I can be relinquished in her
to stay buoyant;
partly obscured, partly ending,
never believed.
I rise with her sloshing tide
and in her wake, I'm free.

The Theory of Everything
https://youtube.com/watch?v=55885Qnt7Ps
"I think we have a good chance of surviving
long enough to colonize the solar system."
~ Stephen Hawking
The alchemy of
modern physics rests
in general relativity—
the gravity of understanding
a Universe at large:
galaxies, clusters, stars
all holding position;
and, quantum mechanics—
smaller scale being:
sub-particles, atoms, molecules
electromagnetic forces
occupying form
The two are incompatible
within a diminutive scale—
planckions of tiny black holes;
and an initial Big Bang
Deeper frameworks of reality
must be discovered
to harmoniously integrate
both into a unifying
Theory of Everything
Stardust drifts in our bones—
atoms, sub-atomic particles:
neutrons, protons, electrons
vibrating musical strings
of gravitational mergings—
creating, and re-creating
our bodies over and again
throughout lifetimes
until fully fused as ONE—
tearing assunder the veil
we so long believed separated
infinite and unknown
dimensions between us
~
