Such a different angle to come at this comp from, one I did not even anticipate.
I shall seek some silence to contemplate the various reasons how this single word can be thought of depending in which part of the world one is born into. Quite the revolving perspective when seen from different eyes.

I'm thankful for the affirmation, Amorous_tryst.
Indeed, the world can no longer be silent about silence.
The same idea came up when I studied experimental music eons ago: composers such as John Paynter (British) and John Cage (American) explored the notion that there was no more silence in the silence.
They built silences (rests) in their musical compositions so that incidental environmental and audience "noises" (sounds) could become part of the soundscape continuum.
