Home again
when forest turn to crimson glow
with the dappled sunlight below
I gather up my gossamer gown
straighten up my flower crown
when gentle breeze begin to blow
caressing the hair on sweaty brow
the songs of birds a symphony
the rustles of leaves accompany
the puffy clouds in the sky
nature's talent in strokes
of its divine brushes apply
leaves of yellow and russets
When night descent dimming daylight
dark curtain with twinkling stars
spread across in cool twilight
walk I home, wandering grace
...

Deep in the cloisters of terracotta
belles effloresce with beaus
among rows of wooden desks
where coeds have sat for a century
while breathing sighs of summer love.
Their poetry is the blue sky
under which gardens blossom
in sonnets of sunshine
heaped in bales of gold.
The young ladies chatter like Chickadees
with gentlemen in a college-lyceum
where Bach can’t compete
with green grass and blue skies.
So we follow the sun
onto the campus green
where lasses are peonies ...

Sayonara Amnesty - with Lilliputian
Sayonara's amnesty tomorrow
with torrents of being one
obsessed by fading incognito
typhoons in nature's ecstasy
seeking one's eternal soul
with the pulse of the bamboo
whispering Sayonara's amnesty
To let go of every shadow
like the drifting autumn leaves
soaring in the air to the sky
breathing with the trees
the quietude of the universe
and the oscillating rhythm
in harmony with the scenery
with torrents of being one
obsessed by fading incognito
typhoons in nature's ecstasy

Beards & Breakdowns
It always starts with a beard -
The breakdown.
After days bleed into weird -
The falling frown.
Realization behind silver
Filaments, crawling
Under the surface layer
Of the lit up mirror.
Precision of vision bright -
Madness is quite
The sight
Tonight.
Gnarly follicles screaming.
Wild hair dreaming.
All seeming -
Freeing.

The uneducated poet
How can poetry be quantified
anyone who reads poetry
means something different
to someone somewhere everywhere
I mean who decided what
poetry is, or what it is not
doesn’t writing poetry
come from the heart?
All poets are writers
but not all writers are...

The Road
pave me
crack me
that’s fine with me
I’ll still take
you anywhere
front and center
don’t be distracted
even when lost
just follow my lead
your legs are
worn and long
but persistent
there will be pain
uphill slow battles
and dead ends
but remember all the
animated borders
along the way
wild child flowers
pops of color
swaying independent
keeping us company
I promise you we'll
have sprinkled friends
especially in Ireland ...

Once blossoming
As Rose wilting.
With cumbersome exuberance.
Burdening demand of its flourish.
Thorny the delicate dance.
For unfolding wanes.
It's bloom a final serenade.
A holpeless coaxing.
Aspiring to its undoing.
Fosters further burgeoning.
In vibrant homage.
To beauty unseen.
With cumbersome exuberance.
Burdening demand of its flourish.
Thorny the delicate dance.
For unfolding wanes.
It's bloom a final serenade.
A holpeless coaxing.
Aspiring to its undoing.
Fosters further burgeoning.
In vibrant homage.
To beauty unseen.

The Sign In A Landing
And so you chose to land,
uncertain whether you'd be greeted
with softness or cruelty,
landing light
on the backside of my hand
I saw mandalas in your wings
and I spoke delicately to you
in thanks for the exaltation.

Many
Please look around you
Everything made in this world
Is made by hundreds
We think we are one
When in fact we are millions
Making this one world
A word is not one
It is made of few letters
To make just one word
Rejoice every day
Knowing you are not a word
You’re one of many
This is (A 5-7-5 haiku) not one but many
