Does Anybody Dream a Comedy
I'm wakin' up again from a bad nightmare
and I don't think I can fall back asleep
even though it's late, I know I'll be okay
but I'm tired of the same old, same old, tragedy
does anybody dream a comedy
or am I the only one who never has?
is it odd I've never heard a laugh
or a piano playin' Alley Cat
so I'm wonderin' if anybody dreams in comedies
unlike me
the road is dry and boring on this long haul out to west Texas
and I'm itchin' for a break to catch some zzz's
not because I'm tired, no, the situation's...

Real Life
can we rewind just a little bit
so we can keep doing what we always did
can we enjoy all the safety without the commitment
and stay on the same old proven track
can we enjoy the happiness without all the sad
but without admitting all of that
we won't fall unless we fly
we won't land unless we take off
we don't belong in this pretend honeymoon phase
it'll wear off in the coming days
we won't last unless we move towards a better sunrise
it won't hurt to breathe the fresh air
and the flowers won't even care
if we run through...

I'm tired of the way you act
as if the world is slowing down
but you're still flying through the air
at faster than the speed of sound
if you can't hear the things I say
then maybe you should sit with me
so we can talk about all this
and why it is that I'll be leaving you

I saw a bird
,lil birdy chirping song ,
no wrong no rights the sun don't shine if the night don't exist
Lil bird singing a song
So I sat down the tree my cowboy hat at ease a guitar on my hip started playing along
