Does Anybody Dream a Comedy
I'm wakin' up again from a bad nightmare
and I don't think I can fall back asleep
even though it's late, I know I'll be okay
but I'm tired of the same old, same old, tragedy
does anybody dream a comedy
or am I the only one who never has?
is it odd I've never heard a laugh
or a piano playin' Alley Cat
so I'm wonderin' if anybody dreams in comedies
unlike me
the road is dry and boring on this long haul out to west Texas
and I'm itchin' for a break to catch some zzz's
not because I'm tired, no, the situation's...

Real Life
can we rewind just a little bit
so we can keep doing what we always did
can we enjoy all the safety without the commitment
and stay on the same old proven track
can we enjoy the happiness without all the sad
but without admitting all of that
we won't fall unless we fly
we won't land unless we take off
we don't belong in this pretend honeymoon phase
it'll wear off in the coming days
we won't last unless we move towards a better sunrise
it won't hurt to breathe the fresh air
and the flowers won't even care
if we run through...
so we can keep doing what we always did

if you can't hear the things I say

Never be Better
There is a strong sense it’ll never be better
Not feeling bound by time or anything
Trying to fit into this madness we’re all living in
Ghosts are chasing me where do i run to
The bottom of the bottle numbs what i truly feel
Stayin in the zone of zombies trying to to break free of what’s killing me
The overall effect is truly the end game 3 is the answer the question is the same
Strong sense it’ll never be better
Country of immigrants with a tall Green Lady
Torch n Flame
Give me tired and scared and too poor to...
