An encounter with The White rabbit, Trindada series part three
She is not a stranger.. Weather one is ready or not for her to appear. Where ever we go we seem to run into her. She slowly begets a functional meaning like the famous white rabbit in the story of Alice in wonderland. This still being one of my all time favorite classical stories. She shows us ways.
Originally from Scotland speaking with her distinct rolling r. When she speaks of the moon she says muin which as far as I know is part of the Celtic ogham Once I looked it up and found out it means prophecy, to advise or teach. These things surely she offers gently flowing as...

through a non mythical lens, Trindada part 2
There is always an untold story, a gesture from the unknown, questions to grapple with along the quest. Some places are just built to remember, channeling all kinds of energies into one being. From jest to fool, magician, all the court cards from Tarot decks can be seen here, tricksters are often most known and seen. Anecdotes and antidotes, there is rough sand paper and there is the most subtle thinnest rice paper.
I wake up unable to know what time it is. A voice speaks, I very gently unzip one part of the window. I can see our neighbour. She sprinkles water...

Four for the Road
Four for the Road
I Walpi
Bruja voice of a thousand tears
Takes us to the sky born wheel
Where pueblo wonders through centuries
Upon flower mesa that blossoms love
For children of dusty walls
Whose cast iron dreams
Are a coal stove in a pottery room
With a lady of ancient designs
Whose smile is the murmuring sun
That glimmers through a veil of sand
When her ceramic children
With motifs as sacred as the land
Are too strange for homes of...

Little conversations
We are in Lagos, Portugal. Coming from the far North by train and buss,
A frail road sign finally appears in hazed distance. After walking with full backpack over cobble stone roads. Passing markets, medieval walls stretch out, murals in mosaic. Old rustic doors half fallen from their hinges. Plainly it states two words "Trindada Camping"
Having registered at the desk where a short tanned man hums many hmms.
"Bom dia" we say as this desk clerk only points a dark rimmed finger.
We return to this place which we formerly swore to never...

Simply The Read, She Is Simply The Best
To Love Life In The Moment, I have found it so daunting to live in the negativity of time, it is a beautiful world out here, and I am so honored to not see colors, just smiles from the heart, and I have been in the presence of elevation of the minds and by the will of Allah, I have been within the company of affluent people from all walks of life.
I tell you, I have sat among the improvised, as well graced my arrival among the prominent, and I have learned no matter the money, the prestige if the heart or mind does not guide its success, then you are maneuvering through life...

Let The Echoes Of Freedom Ring (Part I)
I thought, since I am in Ohio residing in my hotel suite, much later, I will be attending an optional black tie symphonic event to celebrate one of my favorite female R&B artists, an iconess in her own time.
I would blog on site.
My next part I will elaborate on the rise of the African America race, and going forward under a new administration, will our agendas as a collective race of people, trying to prosper in a post-Jim Crow economy, as well as, earning a perspective place in a socialism, catered and systematic manipulated with those old Willie...

Enigma
Enigma,
Even unto myself;
Bottom of the barrel;
High-end top-shelf;
A student of both
Tolkien,
And Bourdain;
One,
Devout Catholic;
One culinarian,
Most profane.
My own heart
Tethered
On those thin threads between…
If you don’t
Really understand,
Then you know
Just what I mean.

Love Big and Small
Duck! - shouted in fear
as a dust mote collides with the wall
leaving behind an unholy din and a
microscopic crater of fractured paint
You reach out clutching a star
and set it on my brow
dining at the far end of the Milky Way
planets floating by towing banners
selling time shares on Alpha Centauri
Swimming on the ocean floor
compressed to the size of atoms
shyly dressing in electrons just to
watch street lights swim past
followed closely by very large teeth
returning home a little tired ...

Mm.. Once Upon A Time
Feeling The Blending Of His Esoteric Soul
Boston, Massachusetts
Based On True Events
South End
There is nothing more mental cleansing than being invited to a white party
Everyone garbed within the reality of purging their philosophical ambience
Attuning the foundation of their fundamental and core values
Uplifting the communion of the sacred nebula of self to the spirits of the cosmic Gods
Glancing around, witnessing cultures and various nationalities, blending in essence
A unity of mentalities who...

Sunday Morning south of Sydney
Travellers often say that visiting such and such a place was 'life changing'.
From my observations nothing much has changed in them, post travel.
They talk the same,walk the same and definitely think the same.
Can a woman hater change by visiting Notre Dame?
Does a bigot change from standing beneath Mount Fuji?
I've met some who have seen the slums of Delhi or the Concentration Camps of Poland.
They still walk past the street beggars and still lump people into groups they can despise.
An experience of any sort changes life but to change...

I would like to say, thank you for the hospitality of the state of Michigan and the city of Detroit and I humbly bow to the country of Canada for such generous hospitality.
In essence of that, I did not get to the Motown Museum due in part, my bestie and I was retained in Canada and then time became a factor.
Detroit is such a thriving city, and the tourist attractions were phenomenal, and the beautiful mural did the city modern justice.
The Spirit Of Detroit
The Spirit of Detroit is a magnificent monument...
