You always hide your scars
You feel ugly inside
Within the smile on your lips
There's a sadness that's belied
What's beneath the surface
You keep hidden away
Always wearing a mask
As you go throughout your day
The person that others know
It isn't you at all
Nothing but a big display
When in truth you feel small
The more people around you
The more alone you feel
They can't understand
That this you isn't real

Its hard to give your trust
You've had that trust betrayed
You had no choice but to adjust
Your feelings overwhelm you
You want to let them go
The more you crave the quiet
The louder that things grow
You feel unworthy, you don't deserve
The people that love and care
It's hard to accept good things
When you were raised within despair
You have trouble with speaking the words
That get caught somewhere in your mind
You have so much going on at once ...

Corporate Executives in diapers
Useless as they are
Having their entourage with them
Maids, butler's, secretaries, advisor's etc...
Always there to look out for their best interests
Men & Woman in business attire crying in restaurants when their help is nowhere to be found
One quick phone call and someone is on their way
She arrived
Just in time before that meeting at 9 am!
The maid took the babbling exec to the restroom to change his diaper
She held his hand
The patrons there looked in disgust and continued eating
