Antemeridian
She was a wee slip of a thing
hanging low in the trees;
a coquette on a wild fling
yet eager to appease.
It was quick like silver she came
and just as quickly went,
like a wispy alchemist flame
that heaven gently sent.
Breaking day wouldn't let her be
so soon she'd disappear,
to blend in morning liberty
with daybreak atmosphere.
She went to kiss her darling sun
to feel young and new
before she once again got spun...
into the midnight blue!
hanging low in the trees;
a coquette on a wild fling
yet eager to appease.
It was quick like silver she came
and just as quickly went,
like a wispy alchemist flame
that heaven gently sent.
Breaking day wouldn't let her be
so soon she'd disappear,
to blend in morning liberty
with daybreak atmosphere.
She went to kiss her darling sun
to feel young and new
before she once again got spun...
into the midnight blue!

Shift Work
Her sickle blade was heading west,
before the sun arose,
up over clouds the daybreak stressed
in lavender pink flows.
At horologic speeds she flew
through the pinnacle sky
of icy stratospheric blue
where sparse contrails ply...
wove by jets at dawn's early light
to mingle with the beams
her crescent shed all through the night
on cold Morphean dreams.
And then she put her horns away
to fade into a ghost
beyond the crow cock solar ray...
when Phoebus comes to host.

Mundus Intus Me
Souls and black holes,
haunting wide eyes,
shinier than coal.
Will never reveal
the secrets they stole.
Hearts and galaxies,
I've only just begun
to travel me.
Freedom burns in my bloodstream.
My mind and the moon,
share the intricate mystery
of the orchard's bloom.
Break me out of
yesterday's cocoon.
My smile and the sun,
warm light beams
that seek to stun.
Kindness spread
to everyone.
My dreams and the clouds,
fluffy wishes
to astound.
To despair,
I am no...

new sun
that
morning's
ember,
how it
jumps,
it flies
on the
edge of
rumors,
each
descending
into the
corners
of
my room,
scraping
the
darkness
away,
leaving
my world
smoldering
while the
sun's
bloom
moves on.
