Poems About the Sun Seeking Honest Critique

You're in control
Standing on a wave in time
Distant silhouettes run through my mind
Messengers through a cloudy space
Darkness reflects onto my face
Maybe one day the sun will reflect a new vision
Walking towards the light is my decision
A warm glow on my soul,
beauty through my eyes
A new dream each day,
thankful to see a new sunrise
Distant silhouettes run through my mind
Messengers through a cloudy space
Darkness reflects onto my face
Maybe one day the sun will reflect a new vision
Walking towards the light is my decision
A warm glow on my soul,
beauty through my eyes
A new dream each day,
thankful to see a new sunrise

F the Sun
Evil carcinogenic ball in the sky
I've a message for you: piss off and die
You promised to hide so we could have rain
yet on you blazed
bringing nothing but pain
Strut your radiant ass away and leave me alone
cool rainy days feel more like home
Your stupid solution
is to bring more pollution
well done i say
in the worst possible way
There's big trouble in the East
flooding and such
but would just one thunderstorm here
be asking too much?
In August I'm leaving
I know not where
but as long as...

Breaking Lights
She's been through hell, and the hell chases her,
the way the light of the sun is chased from east to west.
No one sees a ray run or asks the first light of the break of day
if she needs to catch her breath.
She does it by herself.
At the height of the sun,
by the corners of her eyes, she stares at the edges of her orange-yellow-studded world.
There are no shadows.
She breathes a few minutes.
Another wave of shade creeps from under the horizon.
The light you protect, you won't let them cover it, huh?

Valley of the Gods
Valley of the Gods
The fog forms a halo
Around majesty in rock form
Can’t pass through have to go around
Thorny path uneven and unnerving
Deep in blue canyon a waterfall
Narrow beauty moss on the walls
Mist dips down and rolls over
Rain falls pitter patter
Rising sun orange blaze
Go with the torrent ride the surge
Walk down the waterfall
Descend down time
A split in Mother Earth
Sliver of water so deep
Look up and see a small slice of heaven
Emerge on...

Sol
It's the hardest part of the sledge,
with little in between,
wielding on the wedge
splitting the evergreen.
It's solar power we devour
to burn for cozy nights
and solar flares by the hour
for Northern Light delights.
I feel the swing at my core
with every downward blow
knowing chlorophyll is making more
with wild stellar glow...
smashing those numberless atoms,
in fusion overload,
processed through globular stratums...
the laws of nature goad. ⚛️

THE NEED FOR PEACE
As another day comes over the horizon and it is here were, I sit down by the river of crystals waters, hearing it flows so calming to my brain 🧠 waves, as it quiets the very temple of my thoughts. WITH the deepness of the sound of running waters, sounding in the backdrop of my mind and eyes, seeing with each ripping wave. TO remain me again how much of what I see affects, the deepness of my thoughts and insight and imagination and dreams. For sure it's here I think of the peace and tranquility and peace, that lets me be able to share my thoughts with me myself and I, with the forest...

Moon hasn’t slept for days
Moon hasn’t slept for days
Sun looks over at him and says what are you
Doing
It’s my turn you have to sleep
Moon is salty as a sailor says
I’ll stand and stare at the sun
Have craters you have sun spots
I’m a little satellite you are the Sun around me
Get up early moon isn’t watching me make
breakfast
I haven’t slept for days all I do is think about you
Sleeping awake on a 5 stack with syrup
And some toast and jam
You’re getting ready to be the Sun...
Sun looks over at him and says what are you

It’s my turn you have to sleep
Moon is salty as a sailor says

Shadows of Dying Worlds
Deep within the pitch-black heart
Entwined behind the weary gaze
In echoes of a world torn apart
In whispers of the fading days
Beneath the shadow of a dying sun
Where once it blazed with fiery might
The solar winds now chill and shun
As darkness grips the lengthening night
Pulsating oceans, cold and stark
Churn with the weight of ancient fears
While strangling shadows mark the arc
Of time that vanishes through the years
It lies in wait, in twilight's shroud
An embodiment of nature’s dread
As silence...

Hallowed Firmament
When I describe in glowing terms
September skies that I've adored,
I thought them heavens, best explored,
with what an aspiration affirms...
betokened so by cirrus white,
so thin adrift among the blue,
mingling with the contrail spew
long after jets are out of sight.
These things define that vast expanse
over a leafy sunset gold
to contrast with autumnal cold...
enough to switch from shorts to pants.
Then watch the hummingbirds alight,
just for a moment, on a twig;
thin adrift in a sky so...

Still
Still birth in my brain
I am born again
From cradle to grave
I’m the only one I can save
Born into a new world
On the other side of me
Swim through placenta
And I am free
Crawling on all fours
Can’t reach the door
Pick myself up
And I’m a little toddler
Growing into my new being
I can walk and talk and sing
Still trying to figure out
What this world’s all about
Starting to grow again
Now I’m a young adult
Trying to figure this world out ...

Laments of Celestial Spheres
In the sanctum where the solar flame
Illuminates the ancient name
We gather 'neath the sigils bright
To mourn the death of celestial light
The spheres align in sacred dance
Yet now, they falter in their trance
O luminous orbs, once bold and grand
Now shadowed relics in a hollowed land
From Arcturus’ gaze to the Pleiades’ grace
We trace the paths of time and space
But whispers rise from the astral sea
As dying stars call out to me
The sun's golden rays, once pure and whole
Are clouded now, consumed by coal ...

By Jove!
I glanced at lovely Artemis
who by the stars arose
and thereby got a moonbeam kiss
upon my groggy nose.
Her sportive gibbous, on the wane,
still threw a hearty glow
which sparked anew my sleepy brain
and all the Earth below.
Thusly the morning was well spent
before the day began
when to her zenith Luna went
as gold as old rattan.
And there she did luxuriate
above Orion's frame
chasing her to an evening fate...
beneath a solar flame 🔥
