Live positive
Live moments in positivity
Discard negative
Just did something
Gave away the key
To prosperity
If I sit and stew
And bake a monster of anger
Doesn’t help those i love
Think a circuit is undone
In my cerebellum
Scream at the tv when they don’t
Do what i say to comfort
And fatten the wallet
I cant just beat me
To pay for my sins
So I’m starting something new
Turn a lemon to victory
in my mind I’m aware i watch me
I’m living in positivity
Not down won’t...

Final Four for my Soul
Ball n tunes vs smoke n alcohol (Final Four for my soul)
Epic battle like Tyson vs Ali
Goliath and David
In the garden
Who wins will decide my soul
Rooting for bball but alcohol calls me
Back in to swim and lose myself
Find my way to the surface
Hearing tunes of dolphins
Smell skunk on the horizon
Sink into oblivion
Clear brain can’t find a word
To put together
Spirit’s figure it out
Playin leather and pulling strings
Are things of Buddha beings

On The Hill
On the hill
All the pennies dropped
Should have bought a mansion on the hill
Tried to be a winner
I’m such a loser through and through
All the time I spent
Instead of being present
Chasing dollar signs
Being on the wrong side
I still remember
My first time
It was 1994….Eagles and Niners
Garner laid it down and I
Collected two bills
The start of something
So destructive
Wish I could go back cause
I see it’s killing my family
Pennies dropped
Add up to a bucket ...

Still Bleeding Blue
I remember it was some time in the fall
In fourth grade
Fernando came to our school
I drew a cool poster of him in a pitching windup
There were hundreds of us out in the recess yard
He walked around and shook our hands
He was so young
That was 1984
Now he’s gone
But on game 1
The team put number 34
Right behind the pitcher’s mound
And when Freddie hit that Grand Slam
It took me back to Gibson’s 9th inning blast
I was fourteen all over again

Deep in Here (music n bball)
Deep in here(music +bball)
Watching great athletic events
Are something to applaud
But music is deep in here
Catching a pass or scoring down low
Just can’t compete
When you hit that chord
Or a great vocal line
Watch the crowd respond

Cept something deep in our soul

Ball and bible
Jesus in your pocket
Before the next game
Says a prayer
Fingertips on pages of God
Stroking leather through cotton
Looks to the sky and pounds his heart
Didn’t know Jesus wore sneakers
Preached from the bleachers
Saving lost teams
Flip through the scriptures
Try to find some truth
Found out Jesus was a Sixer
Spirit of 1776
Eating popcorn in the seats

Tear in Heaven
Something about dropping a tear into heaven
Galaxy away see a small hole
Floating and spinning
On the horizon
Stand like skywalker
Smaller than a pebble
Drops down from above
Must be from heaven
Set my eye see a smile in the crowd
Feet set in position
Fight through the starts
Know destiny in you
Drops of heaven drizzling on me
Shots of infamy or destiny
Who decides is me and my god
Not a case of doing right by Cure

Of false satans and gods ...

How was practice?”
Oh I don’t mean to brag,
But I was the human punching bag
My lip was grazed
My ribs, I’m shocked
They still make a cage
“It was great”
I should’ve ate before,
Maybe I would’ve done better then
I suppose I’ll forgive myself today for the ache
Until the pain goes away
Another practice begins, next time I’ll win
Oh I don’t mean to brag,

What have I seen?
not actually sure
a losing team
is there a cure?
Batters could not hit
pitcher let up many runs
balls popping out of mitts
fans annoyed; this was no fun
No hope for them
fans have gone away

Whistle screams to sound the beginning
of these legs around this roaring place.
Dirt will fly, up to the sky while
the horses shout peeling about.
Dragging the curves from end to end
exhaling dark elements from tail pipes end.
Smacking pavement, clashing metal,
rolling all over this circular shelter.
Winds blow by, swirling between sprinters
shining light under this darkened drive.
Nearing the closing colorful papers wave
the striders past the line of eyes posing.
Screeching halt, legs are doll, ...
