lemonade drops
she stood
lifting
her smile
heavenly,
the lemonade
drops
falling from
overhead
cotton candy
clouds,
she tried
to drink
as much
rain
as she could,
drying
the storm
and bring
back
the banana
sun.

Empyrean Revere
Admire playful spring lambs bleat
and gaze on graceful swallows swoop.
It's blissful to let the hours beguile
As evening creeps through late afternoon.
Lazing calmly on a strangers porch,
or paddling bravely on surface high.
Hidden creatures splash and coo,
branches reach across a sentimental sky.
Contented under tartan thread,
admirers ignored the bitter colds bite.
By nurtured flame the colours bled,
lochs surface mirrored dimming light.
On cloudless canvas the night sky boomed;
Twilight wore a cape wove...
and gaze on graceful swallows swoop.
It's blissful to let the hours beguile
As evening creeps through late afternoon.
Lazing calmly on a strangers porch,
or paddling bravely on surface high.

coming wintertime
each step
leaves
a trace,
your habitation
is
impending
and consigned,
fame
conquers wings
and those
marked affairs,
your
dwelling place,
now
your eyes
watch
the sun
so worked,
waiting
for your long
and
heavy score.

Autumn of Defeat
How peculiar the dawn, blemished with its preternatural blue,
Of a parallel world, a cause and effect, for everything we do.
How many here's until we get to there's?
Or these days just to anywhere.
The big tree, was afflicted with a melancholic wavering,
That summer was just a flamboyant fling.
The leaves will bleed colors of fire.
Before the tree chooses to retire.
But first a chaos of soul tantalizing color competes.
The summer green of yesterday becomes a decaying obsolete.
The belief that the good lasts forever.

A Gray Day
The dawn was an eery shade of smoke gray.
A storm bruised and seized the sky today.
Haunted by fulfillment or lack of,
Now just cobwebbed empty alcoves in my heart.
I'm half flesh and half hole.
Nature provides those feelings that are missing in the technologically bound soul.
Simplicity transcends.
My mind bends to figure out the summer of ends.
But enchanting was the late August lush leaves
and plump berries of the trusted old crabapple tree.
Alive I feel, like a child, a spirit set free of fear.

Strawberry Cloud Stampede
Moments appear and moments pass
Colours wave through prismed glass
Pink clouds that grow in comfort and size
They prance, skip and charge to show their alive
Exotic birds with domestic roots
Perched on chimneys, dusting soot
Body moving in kaleidoscope sway
Feeling miniature (in a grateful way)
Video game consciousness you couldn’t write
Best keep a postcard or you’ll miss your flight

A Cup of Sugar .
Winter is the season we all borrow that cup of
sugar . It’s that extra duvet and fluffy pjs to
appease the body with sweetness to abate
the climatic change as the thermometer drops
to minus degrees . It’s steaming hot chocolate held in cupped hands with two spoonfuls of
glucose and fructose of sugar cane . It’s tucked you in kissed you goodnight under a woollen scarfed moonlight sky .

Vast
I look into the vast pale blue sky
With travelling cloud giants passing by.
How small am I?
Crows squawk a foreboding language.
At the often absurdity of simply being human.
Trying to fit large ego's into tiny toned bodies.
Our problems pale as to the fate of the earth.
Denial never felt so good to the masses.
Climb out of your box.
And look around, wide eyed
At beauty's enormity in every species of life.
Give up your false theory
that the world revolves around you.
The world is vast, let's ensure it lasts.

The Theoretical Garden
A swathe of colours
Lay before me
On the ground, The trees, and the sky
The soft sun
Glimmered through
The dusty billowing clouds
Streaking across the undulating meadows
Birdsong resounding
Within the wavering trees
Bejewelled by emerald leaves
And skitting around
Through this enchanted tapestry
Fairies flew
Some riding on the backs of dragonflies
Darting, hither, and thither
Silken wings shimmering
Under the soft subtle rays
Of a slowly diminishing sun
The twilight came
This thief
Betwixt...

Mauve
The twilight sky invited me outside.
To rejoice my aching eyes.
A sky awash with ten shades of pink.
Heaven's link.
Each a different strain of my bleeding heart.
Over a love that has no start.
Joy bleeds in my core at the sight of such magical beauty beyond my door.
It dilutes the anguish, turns it mauve.

Yukon Surreal
Yukon Surreal
Meringue snow
Where stunted pine
Awakens in Cimmerian quiet
To misty-eyed earth
Whose fogbound dream
Could be a barren Scottish highland
Where bagpipes echo
But our Yukon land
A burial ground
Marked by totem poles
To remember lost seasons
When eagle and hawk tribes
Found the path of peace
Meringue snow
Where stunted pine
Awakens in Cimmerian quiet
To misty-eyed earth
Whose fogbound dream
Could be a barren Scottish highland
Where bagpipes echo
But our Yukon land
A burial ground
Marked by totem poles
To remember lost seasons
When eagle and hawk tribes
Found the path of peace

Yesterday's Sky
faster and faster days slipping by
tomorrow turns into yesterday's sky
Sun rising up, Moon going down
full Moon to new Moon around and around
growing older and older though feeling the same
atoms keep changing we're on a train
of cells being replaced within seven years
time's speeding up while facing our fears
where are we going? where have we been?
where are we now that we have seen
everything everywhere passing us by
rainbows and halos up in the sky
omens and portents of what is to come
of what has arrived,...
