so she can survive,

as society

A magical glimpse at winter's secrets.
Behold the mysterious footprints
upon the frozen powder's bed.
It's the words we don't say
that amplify the ached silence in my head.
The soft tracks lure imagination
with their ghostly glow.
At the scene earlier, a blood red cardinal
perched in the stark white snow.
Another peaceful moment of heart glow.
Winter's startling secrets grant joy
May the return to reality be forever slow.

You are my strength and my weak spot .
My drug of choice and my cure .
You are everything I desire. My lucky charm
and equally my biggest nightmares but still
I would willingly lay down my life for you .
Or just as easily live a life with you . I’m
an addict at your whim and I wonder

In a life of nothingness and falseness
reality becomes a mere illusion
mere mirage deceiving the senses

of empty promises mere words
nothingness engulfs the soul
