The river created you
Because she has no time
For people who are stuck
To try to stick
Themselves to her
Because she has no time
For people who are stuck
To try to stick
Themselves to her

RIPPLES IN THE POND
Sitting here in this moment of peace and tranquility, as I glaze off into the horizon as I exchange my thoughts so freely, with the calmness of the breeze whispering through the water. Yet it is here I feel entwine in the mirror reflection, that reflects off the ripples in the water staring up back at me. For even as I stare up into the distant skies, I could see the differences between the characters in the clouds, just floating silently creating situations of shapes and patterns. But yet WHY IS IT WE NEVER TAKE THE TIME AND PATIENCE, TO LEARN THAT TRANQUILITY IS ALL AROUND US. FOR WHY DO WE...

silent river
There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river.
We need to go upstream and find out why they're falling in."—Desmond Tutu.
so easily
you pull me in,
calm, cool, calculated;
so greedily
you make me sin,
damn fool, captivated.
and yet you spare me
not one glance,
altho so nearly
i would dance

TO ESCAPE FROM THE WORLD
Sometimes it is worth and necessary that we step, out the door to escape to that far away place. Nestle between the mountains and streams of our imagination, that runs through the valley hidden behind the skies and clouds. That secret universe lock in a world where, there is no time or space only your own imagination. To be awaken and felt, as your consciousness awakens the process of the moment. Where we can find the right place Nestle in the past and future and present that the visionary world becomes of a modern day life. Where we are equal yet not the same, as we each think differently as...

The water
Water is amazing thing,
Brought her closest to peace,
Rather it roaring or silent as can be,
Cloud cover, sunshine, or moonlit,
Let me drift, swim, put feet in or just sit and gaze upon the water,
It brings calmness to my brain and soul,
Bit by bit strings of words unravel and unwind,
Emotions, thoughts so intertwine,
Ocean, rivers, waterfalls, channels, creeks, bayou, ponds, lakes and puddles,
Even rain falling fast from the sky,
Believe in when I say, can always let the water wash away,
Allow your mind to be silent,
Or let the...

River Phoenix
Chaos as a constant.
I shall.
Open armed embrace.
Defiance & harmony.
Guiding the river.
Winding where it needs to wind.
Cut strait where it needs to be cut strait.
And giving over
In order
To feel alive
Sometimes
Like you -
At this time
Surging in my veins,
Surfacing in my blood stream
An art work
Expressed in fire work
Whispering to a great work
& a guardian angel
As a black clad goddess
Dancing in contours of goddess

Grasping Spring
Porotic bones of fallen seasons
pierce winter's ash,
welcoming Aurora's spreading warmth.
Her marmalades mixing marigold
as reflections dance
upon rivers of fractured glass,
their toes enflaming indigos
where brackish blackness
once consumed the purest blues.
Algid hands reach forth,
skeletal,
feeding the emerald skin
of another verdant spring
still slightly out of reach
and yet, they know
better days
are just around the bend.....
pierce winter's ash,
welcoming Aurora's spreading warmth.

gently flows the river
a garland cinquain
gently
through the rushes,
from its cradle creeping,
comes a cool and sparkling fountain
singing.
singing,
flows the river,
where the children gather
from her bosom perch and mullets,
wide-eyed.
wide-eyed
sun, descending
to its evening ocean,
paints the skies with hints of golden
colours.
colours
of the rainbow
melt into the ocean,
where from mountain toil its rest comes
sweetly.
