Looking for the answers, trapped inside this prison
I can't let it go, cause rap is my addiction/
I know I'm just a single flow, from going back to prison

When I was alone you were there, when I was low you showed you cared/
Whether on the phone or in person, you helped a lost person to reappear
You seem to lessen every fear, and seemed so near, when I was far/
And now I'm here, I'm so sincere when I say you're a big part of my heart
From the start you were a star, that shined so bright in my blackened sky/
And made me happy when I wasn't, and when I was you made me smile

Every day when I wake, there's always this one girl I wanna see/
When I log back into Facebook, she's who I look for on my feed
Just like me she is a poet, one who is really good at what she does/
And the other day she wrote me a poem, so here I am showing love
I know I'm lucky to have met her, and to have her as a friend/
Cause what we share can't be compared, and I know it'll never end
From the poetry which she pens, to the endless convo's that we have/
Her words have the 'power' to mend, and put an end to what was sad

Barely a man without a plan, too much time on my hands/
Too many rhymes in my mind, I couldn't silence these lambs
Though they silenced this man, without a hand over mouth/
They couldn't silence my plans, if my silent plans didn't shout
I couldn't be drowning in a drought, or getting burnt by rain/
Cause when my demons came out, how could my words refrain?
I take the hurt out of my pain, and pen it on to some paper/
Yet the words I create, can lead to some hateful behaviour

Welcome to Purgatory, where the dew of repentance washes off stain/
Through confession and satisfaction, righteousness you shall gain
As sins cleansed from your soul, you'll be illuminated by sun/
And you will know the joys of paradise or ascend to level one, LIMBO.
Ushered across the River Acheron, to the brink of an abysmal grief/

Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns honesty becomes my prey/
I look for justice, but find none, as for deliverance, it is far away
There is no justice in their paths, so the way of peace, they do not know/
I intend to repay wrath to all my enemies, and retribution to all my foes
No one who walks with them shall be safe, they have turned into crooked roads/
As I put on the garments of vengeance, and wrap myself in zeal, as in a cloak
