Ode to My Mango Tree
two decades or so, yet
ever reaching out to me
your calloused branches...
my voice and touch
carved in your aging bough,
your song when leaves rustle
in the night breeze
overwhelms my tormented soul...
o' my dearest amrapali,
more than my confidant,
you are an embodiment
of my spirit guide,
listening to my laments
and in whose silence
dwells solace-
an intercessor,
who carries my
pleas and prayers
to the universe; ...
ever reaching out to me
your calloused branches...
my voice and touch
carved in your aging bough,
your song when leaves rustle
in the night breeze
overwhelms my tormented soul...
o' my dearest amrapali,
more than my confidant,
you are an embodiment
of my spirit guide,
listening to my laments
and in whose silence
dwells solace-
an intercessor,
who carries my
pleas and prayers
to the universe; ...

~ OESHO- OMMO
celestial naked
duskiness.. dotted fleshy in bloodied
red clotted erected buds ..
touched with golden tips
& blackened craving lips..
her powering in
sensualising form
Ommo~ Uma
spatially densing~dancing
asteroidal lighted Shakthi.. She
in search of
her other half her love .. in
mystically peacockish blueing hue
of the mountainous Kailash
earthen peaking form, in His
Himalayan abode
Oesho~ Ishwar

Birds Fly In The Rain
We know not the tinder of the moment
When match is struck
Suspended between spark and flame
What is right? What is wrong?
No one lives forever
Then needs come the night
Why do we keep deep diving for everything on our wishlist
Always chasing some neurotically ordained checklist
Why cant we be satisfied in the here and now
Who am I
Some random guy
A random
Unique
An outlier in your world
A shooting star outside your orbit

Fallow
Consider the field that stretches out ahead;
you say that nothing has grown there for years
and that might be true,
but NOTHING has been wasted.
Not time,
not energy,
not opportunity.
The land that has been left to stand,
fallow,
is full of fertile soil
and rich with promise for the future.
Let me help you pull out the weeds
and plant the field well.
Nurture it with love and care;
water and light and good food.
Have patience and hope,
then wait to see what is going to grow.
you say that nothing has grown there for years

Jackdaws play
I'd say upon,
A blue, blue sky.
Which could be akin to them,
Saying,
We play upon the green,
The grey, the brown.
As they fly by,
Looking down.
Do they watch,
As we drag our clumsy feet?
Watching them bank upon the wind?
They see us,
I know they do.
With sadness.
With fear,
In how they take to flight.
I'd rather they,
Stay awhile and talk.
Introduce to me,
Their racourious caw.
And learn to laugh a little louder,
Knowing not all,
Mean ill.
And now I've been...
A blue, blue sky.
Which could be akin to them,
Saying,

Oh Happy Day
Oh sunny day welcomes me in
beautiful sunlit flowers smile up at me
while their tree guardians take note
the birds resting in their boughs
leaves rustling slightly
while their branches praise the blue
the sky reaches on forever
a home for the sun
The earth rotates lazily as the day progresses on
She is interactive, our mother
she gives as she receives
I notice that on days I'm stormy
and stomping out about the property
She will reach out and trip me
admonishing me to be kind
the energy I'm...

How Much Do We Actually Know?
What do we actually know about nature?
The things we know are what we conceive them to be.
How much do we actually know?
We don’t have accurate knowledge about everything we claim to know.
Misleading information exists everywhere.
How can we tell whether the things we know are true or false?
Some people seek knowledge about many things.
Others just want to know enough to get by.
We should not believe only what we see.
Many things exist beyond our knowledge.
Not everything we know is worth knowing. ...

"The Sea's Silent Symphony"
The sun, a molten gold coin, shimmered on the surface of the Coral Triangle, a vast, pulsating heart of the ocean. Spring’s gentle warmth had coaxed a symphony of life from the depths. Coral polyps, tiny architects of the sea, unfurled their delicate tentacles, capturing the sun-kissed plankton that drifted on the currents. Clownfish, their vibrant orange stripes flashing like jewels, darted amongst the anemones, their symbiotic dance a testament to the intricate balance of this underwater Eden.

Monosyllabic
I dreamt I saw
through arched back door
wild scenes of war
from days of yore.
I dreamt I strode
where sea once flowed.
Whilst warm sun glowed,
my brisk pace slowed.
I dreamt I heard
notes, trilled and slurred.
One song; no word—
a clear toned bird.
I dreamt I knelt
where you once dwelt;
I did near melt,
so sweet it felt.

from days of yore.

[NaPoWriMo - 2025 Collection] Flowers from Thoughts
NaPoWriMo Collection: Flowers from Thoughts]
Prelude
Flush wisteria, lavender
ripened upon their vine
Eliot’s hyacinth couple
deep purple, beyond the rain-
pummeled garden gate
A mossy footpath, wet
seeping between toes
of bare feet, droplets plop
extend upward, fall
into Earth's moistened mouth
. . .Other echoes
Inhabit the garden. Shall we follow?
Not to learn but remember
nor think back to before
November circumstance
tilled the soil of withered slumber ...

Some berries and a giraffe's kiss
Let me take you to a divine place
where strawberries blush and interlace.
In the heart of the savannah they bloom
soft whispers of life in nature’s room.
The rain falls warm, like a lover's sigh.
A tender caress from a generous sky.
Its drops linger embracing the earth
feeding the fields where beauty finds birth.
The light, so cool, shimmers and plays,
casting shadows in intricate arrays.
A gentle balm to the heat’s embrace
illuminating dreams in this secret space.
Feel the pulse of the land, its steady...

I know a place of silence
I know a place of silence
Where one can roam about -
Touch the height of peace
And watch the morning crown.
It's a place well-hidden -
Where no worry survives -
Where no thoughts break in
And living hope abides -
Where seraphs may be found
And joy is my raiment -
Where clouds meet the ground
And keep the dewy haven.
It's under mesquite trees -
Over their medusan roots
And in mellow sun rays
And their assuring proofs.
It's by the pale mescals -
Under some tender stalk -
Between granite boulders
In...
