History of the Dutch Rock Scene
So much has been written about the history of rock music. Whether it was the early days of Rock n Roll with the likes of Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and countless others. Or during the 1960’s with the advent of Surf Music, Motown and the British Invasion. Bands such as the Beach Boys, The Temptations and The Beatles were legendary acts. These artists paved the way for numerous bands to copy their sound as well as to create their own. Not just in England and America, but all over the world.

Backstage - Motley Crue
Welcome, Backstage, I’m Damian DeadLove. Tonights band is: Motley Crue. This band has been the soundtrack to a lot of memories in my life. Was I a fan? At one time I really was a big fan. If you ask me that now, I’d have to say I’m a Mick Mars fan. If you follow?
First off, the band formed in 1981, and this is the original line up: Mick Mars - Guitar, Vince Neil - Vocals, Nikki Sixx - Bass, and Tommy Lee - Drums. But were focusing more on 1992-1994 after Vince Neil has quit the band, or was he fired. Well it depends on who you ask.

Why Cant A Man Be More Like A Woman? (This is the counter argument for a song)
I just had to leave
I’m sure he would not understand
That all his yammering On’s
It was getting out of hand
Men are too rational.
Here is what I say about that
Their head is full of bills, bosses
And the occasional sportsman at bat
They are good for
Accusation
Deliberations
Detestations
Criminalization
Infuriation
Quibbling
and
Nags
Why can’t a man be more like a woman? I can’t understand.
Women are like light.
That everyone can't help but stare.

Sad Jazz
Misty-colored memories
Rise to the surface
Sexy saxophone offerings
You’re haunting my mind again

villian
conjuring you to me
I cast on the airs villianry
to see you weep
to have me reap
wasted feelings
wasted lives
souless wanderer
return to me
return to me
break the night and breathe

Rothko, Pollock, Poetspeak …
Poetspeak
Obviously the best looking
Those other guys
Yeah, they carried it
Just like Jack Casady on bass
Bless its Pointed Little Head album
Google it

Snapshot
First snowfall 2021
Window panes of glass
bend evening's light
transforming an espresso landscape
into snowflaked obsidian—
a phenocryst crystal, reflecting
a solitary soloist perched
on a shivering pin oak's limb
No bigger than my palm
its shrill organ penetrates
a Universe of soft silence
despite the absence
of light or warmth
'And I think to myself,
What a Wonderful World'

Smile! You're In A Box!
Am I a joke to you?
I want to see you smile,
And moan for me.
Lisa Simpson on a sax.
Paid for and taken out back.
At the club tonight.
Haven't been in a while.
Stay with me,
So I can make you smile!
Stop the jokes and moan a little more.
Sex brings the facts,
The whore does the chores.
There's no free country,
Music is just a style.
The rhythm is you.
The riddle is the box.
"A prison for you and me."
Jack and Jill on the sax.
Let me hear you sing!
I'm a creep seeking...
I want to see you smile,
And moan for me.

Song Sparrow
Song Sparrow,
Come fill my marrow
with delight.
Hearts like sun,
molten and bright.
Hopeful anthems of summer,
we all know.
Stimulating imagination,
where creative winds blow.
Song Sparrow.
A colorful repertoire of song,
the music of nature sweetly plagues
the soul all the hours long.....

Crescendos
allow me to wipe
off the dust love
slide my fingers
over your keys
play you softly
pour light into
your darkness
ease the black
revive the white
bring back to life
the sound of your
soul & heal your
years old scars
create a private
silent symphony
divine harmony
in delicate notes
& elegant tones
from the depths
of despair to the
peaks of pleasure
in a slow crescendo
until you moan in music
off the dust love
slide my fingers
over your keys
play you softly
pour light into
your darkness
ease the black
revive the white
bring back to life
