power of investment
he used to tell me...when it comes to love
the one least invested has the most power
I resented it at the time
it made me so angry...
...so hurt
guess that shows where I fell in our equation...
in the end...turns out he was right
truth is...love is only as real as we allow it
and not everyone has the same capacity
...translation...
...or the will
but my mushy heart will gleefully fall
regardless of how unlikely it may turn out
because I feel most alive when I'm giving
when the glow warms my entire...

Pretty lies and convienent truths
Born into a realm where facades gleam and half-truths soothe,
Before 'mother' found form on my tongue, from her bosom I was removed.
At the tender age of eight, braided yarn in hand,
I unearthed secrets in those threads, a world unplanned.
By nine, my discoveries brought labels, harsh and cold,
Branded 'broken', a narrative unfairly told.
At eleven, within actual school walls I was set,
Solitude my prior tutor, with beasts and boughs my only bet.
Clueless in the art of mingling, a misfit in their space, ...

The Transparent Vestments of Narcissistic Indifference
Shackled on the cold hard stone of your mind,
welcoming the sacrificial knife, weeping as rituals steal my heart,
giving all for love

Priestess of the sun god of your need,
devout belief in the morality of your greed,
erecting a tower of skulls you are freed

Empathy and compassion do not worship Huitzilopochtli,
shapeshifting god once appearing as Gaia or Kali,
resplendent in the transparent vestments of your narcissistic indifference.

or is it hereditary?
your mouth all mighty tongue everlasting
can be such a drag at times
makes me wonder if you were always
an old hag in disguise looking for
someone you can henpeck
into an early grave
you met me being me
being free
it was my sovereignty
that made you wet...made you sweat
or did you forget?

Paralyzed tongue
Spiritually blinded eyes
That is created to see nothing beyond our own reality
Stone and cold hearts
It traps low frequency
Leaving the hollowed vibration
The echoes the sounds of dead end illusions
Disconnection from
Any and everything living on the face of this earth
And far and far beyond
They trade our love with bloodshed
As our innocence lies in the palm's of their hands, and still they must divide us
Chours
What kind of world are we living...
Paralyzed tongue

With age comes wisdom,
maybe small relief
in unmooring harbored secrets
that help to ease into
a new plane
of existence
of being mindful
Personally, I try(hope) for
selflessness,
but am ok with
practicing generousity
of the smallest kind.
Striving for self improvement
while healing my own heart's wounded scars
Becoming lighter,
so grace is what flourishes,
while still giving my darkness
its own due time

Bathe In Ashes
Where your world lay dead, covered in gore
Fear left behind at the dawn of our passing
Each who stood before the other
As if it were their own.
Love we let go blind
At the mere mention of hopes death
And our dreams become the hell we knew too well
Do you sleep often without stirring
A comfortable blanket to betray your knowing
A wooly hide for the hunted
Thoughts of money to drive you onwards
For what little time we are allotted
Before you must shut your doors
Or break down theirs again.
How many goodbyes will...

Made the subconscious so
Accountable for consequence,
Subliminally, as the actor
Tried his hand at
The surface of perception, where

Misjudgments quickly became his
Role in discernment, as

I met my girl under pretense of destiny
Her and me
Meeting so purposefully
I swore and so did she
Man
We were meant to be
But we moved in and I saw another place
The moldy base did not match the perfectly strewn drapes
Like a plague
I darkened and ruined her hallways
So I went online
Looking anywhere to play
It felt so damn good
Being wanted every day
