Autumn's Embrace
Because we are poets
We feel so much
Fall's sudden brisk temperature
Releasing us from summer's hold
Sudden rummaging through draws
Finding sweaters long tucked away
Sleep has been better
Morning's crisp and dog walking faster
I covered you up
Blanket askew
You lay exposed to my hungry eyes
Morning desire to have and to hold....
We feel so much

Soul Lovers
it feels like we are
sexual soulmates
L said out of the
blue during sex
and that is true
though on other
aspects we pair
quite perfect too
as if our planets
are stellar in line
two similar lives
Colliding as if it
was meant to be
we see what lies
beneath our eyes
always complete
each other's lines
we are dark matter
and starfire in this
divine outer space
delicate souls who
found each other in
this magical cosmos

The Alphabet Game
As I approached you slowly
By the river you waited patiently
Casually watching me
Daring me to come closer
Ethereal light shone on you
Fair and elegant standing tall
Gracefully you waved at me
Handsome and attractive
In fact I was instantly smitten
Just watching you as you stood there
Kissed by the dappled sunrays
Lovingly caressed by the breeze
Magical feelings when we touched
Nothing could compare to the feeling
Only in dreams have I experienced
Peace and love that engulfed me

Until Tomorrow Comes
Words my dreams write to me
from the pillow of my philosophy
never to fade, saying goodbye...
until.
that's how a factory of dreams work
when all that is beautiful fulfills
a prophecy to end the day...

and now that I lay me down to sleep
listening to you dying
I have broken my silence
as my tears follow, what seems
an end of time, with a kiss...
until tomorrow comes

Spoon
My lover and I are swirling
Blended by the spoon
I cradle her, within
the cups of my hands
As we spill together
into soup
Our aromas mixed in chaos
of steam and scent
and sighs and sweat
Oils for brewing
our decadence
I sipped on a caught hair
one of her twenty thousand strands
-Long ebony tresses
of my cinnamon bride
She brushed it aside
from my lips
and we kissed
like beggars
on succulent mouthfuls
of generous flesh
We glow in naked pride
as shimmering lovers ...

that your voice placed in my soul.
Maybe we even dream,
the same dream...
Maybe you'll call me from above
from the mountains of your dream...
A subtle bitterness, your name loaded
on cold lonely nights.
I feel the weight of time, endless,
dragging every worn memory.
In the dark silence of the bowels,
an echo resonates, empty and lost.
A deep, never-ending tiredness
marks of a love
that was never called love.
The words we always...
