A Romantic Tale
Decades ago a man was in love with a woman
he would do crazy acts to seek her attention
he was a daredevil
he's faced death numerous times
he's played chicken with trains,
jumped off bridges and survived the plunge,
climbed skyscrapers,
and even imitated some of Houdini's work
nevertheless he was crazy, but good at what he did
one day he told his girlfriend that he was going to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel
she told him you're insane
if you do this you could die and we'll never have a life together
his mind was made up and told...

touching you so intimately feeling shy
your brutality cruelly seduces me

walls lining castle ruins, where these
fortresses of our heart seem invincible-
in love, their towering turrets a standard’s
base upon these dusty ramparts-
witnessing architecture wed landscape-
supporting our unyielding faith.
it may not always be so; victors
come and go; wars fought and lost-
as much as they are won; should
another champion capture your heart
as I myself have done, your attention
a profession of new-found love-
then, shall it...

as tiny piano mynas in series of chirpiness
tear tear tear tear tear . . in the bassy broad
a jarring~ jamming stitch of timelapse shots
rises high pitched mystic Sufi like a western
Hippie- ARRahman in a silky topnotched hike
overspeeding trains’ a nowhere pencilled line
but your zigzagging bike a never ending crazy ride
buzzing over the busy beach footballers to joggers

love's sweet clever lies.
Chocolate whispers melt,
roses blush with secret winks,
passions stealthy pelt.
Letters bloom with glee,
witty verses set hearts free,
valentine's decree.
Roses red and bright,
love's whispers in moonlit night,
hearts take soaring flight.
In this tryst we bloom,
cupid's arrows break the gloom,
love's eternal room.
Valentine's Day is today
it keeps bringing out
craziness in everyone!
