TOOT FOR TRUTH
Toot for truth
In all you do
As one who toots his fluted flute.
A shoot for truth
Spooks the mute
As one who blocks truth
Loses a few.
Shrew the truth
Shrewds the brute.
Let’s toot for truth
Like morning dew
Freedom will pay the nightly due.
Paint the truth
Oh, look how cute!
Translucent lights of colorful hues!
In suppressing the truth
Lies the roots
Of the quickly sprouts of venomous fruit

GRACEFUL THOUGHTS
Graceful thoughts of the both of you
Come pouring in like sweet croissant memories
the best you could have done, you did
And that was to raise us, your children
In the delightful delicacies of God's Word and Truth.
Like fresh heavenly morning dew
God's Word seeped right through
The walls of our eyes and the windows of our souls.
We didn't do so well in our lives
Yet, graceful thoughts of you both still come to mnd.
For, God would have been the very essence of our being
Had we had Him presently present
In all ways...

LETTING GO
Seasons come and seasons go
Each one of us learn to let go.
Letting go does not come easy.
Letting go is the parting with something or someone
We had for a while that became a part of us.
It was ours; it belonged to us.
We must have needed it for a wile or a time.
Letting go can be sad or drive us mad
It hurts to part because we, by nature, are possessive beings.
Sharing is a virtue as letting go is unnatural
To the natural beasts we are.
Letting go states we don’t need it anymore
And, yet, the future remains unknown ...

This Is The Day
This is the day to pass on a smile
To chat with someone for a little while
To learn something new and apply it, too
To gaze upon creation in all its colorful hues.
This is the day to believe in a miracle
To believe in the wonders of a world even with cynicals
To reflect on the mystical beauties of the earth
And fully experience the gift of thy birth.
This is the day - not yesterday nor tomorrow
For each day, though it may bring its own sorrows,
Today is the day, to experience and find peace

Remember The Dove
When it's one of those days where everything's gone bad
Your heart may be heavy and feeling sad.
When you encounter, in your midst, some trouble
And it seems you're paying double
Remember the dove....
When the sun goes away and seems to forever hide
When you're feeling fearfully-scared with eyes open wide
When your heart is pounding hard and fast
And you can't seem to get by or past
The dark night that just settled ahead and above
Remember the dove....
What about this white mysterious dove
That one should grow to love? ...

Take The Miracle
There are things money just cannot buy.
Your smile, your laughter, your sweet memories.
If you were in need f a miracle
And they’d give you a chance to chooe between money or a miracle,
Would you pass the money and choose the miracle
Or would you choose the miracle ad pass the money?
Why go through life requesting the least
When you can request the most and the best
For everyone can always settle for less….
Take the miracle!
Great outdoor adventures with fields of grain and fire camps,
Sitting at a park is therapeutic….even...

Slush On The Asphalt
Slush on the asphalt
Onto the sidewalk it shoots
Cars and trucks sloshing around in it
She trudges on in old stylish boots
Cloudy sky
Little wind blow
Bending and twisting
To move the wet snow
Heavy as fuck
Away from the path
Clearing the way
For older footfalls to pass
Back and forth
Throughout the day
To and fro
She clears the way ...

Between Our Hearts
Lots of mistakes were made
but then, everything is a puzzle piece
so damn hard to complete living on
the edges, why do we always start with the
outside of a person
We make them a shell by addressing
only the surface, the depths of a soul
are so much deeper, yet our eyes
seldom see beyond the flesh, that road
map will change and lead to oblivion
Seek a deeper knowledge, dive head
first into a sea unknown, allow your
curiosity to bloom, open yourself to an
understanding beyond your expectations
and...

Infatuated Love
My moods effect
The morning rise
It’s swings perfect
These sodden eyes
My coatings ground
Brown lumpy flesh
Reanimated by sound
Maxwell’s the fresh
Stiff as boards
Squeal gray joints
Save zombie hoards
My Folgers points
Vocal melodies contract
On scapegoat horses
Hold the black
My Keurig courses
Confusion swept clouds
Emancipate my soul
Lined up crowds
Self must control
Pent-up irritations
Complex and spunky
Where’s the plantations
Dunkin Donuts junky
My body jitters ...

Gesture foretold tasteless ways,
to entail breathless gaze across skylines.
Shivers gulped beyond spines.
Exquisiteness formed by his eyes.
Gentle baritone’s voice echoed,
speechless tone; the verb forecasted.
Softy wind amid fingertips and
magnet tricks,
Tattooed wave on shorelines.
Inscribed love thru chivalry schemes,
Mystic artists’ blueprint molded my spirit.

Anthem of Freedom
They wanted to see me fail-
Return to them crying and bawling...
In pain and in wails...
On my hands and knees dragging and crawling...
They wanted to hear the words "You were right"
Shooting forth from my mouth to their ears
So, I'd "learn my lesson" and gain insight.
They wanted to see my endless tears
And see me humiliated and alone...
Completely broken and disowned...
Little did they know that my leaving
Was the spreading of my wings
All it took was a little...
Return to them crying and bawling...
In pain and in wails...

Love>Hate
The universal antiquities of love and honor
often succumb in the bitter cold of a season
of hatred
These energies that rise against us stripping
our warmth away are born of ourselves, it is
not an external hate that leaves us lost, but rather
the self loathing spirit within
If we the broken, often misunderstood, or the lost
hurt or abused could see that we are so
amazingly beautiful and genuinely love ourselves
the overflowing abundance of love would change
our world
Or maybe it wouldn't, but we will be happy ...
