SPECIAL TIMES
YOU
asked, "What are some
of the special times you
can remember relative to
all the times we have
been together?"
HOW
much time do I have to
tell YOU?
Late into the night we fell
asleep as I was continuing
to share the special times.
EVERY
waken moments and in
dreams too have been special
times. But some of the most
memorable times have been
the hours at the KISSING PLACE.
are special times with YOU.
"ME TOO! I love it here," was
the cuddling reply.

You pour foamy blood into my veins.
How a mute voice sings to me
so that I may come to life.
He flew over the rooftops of New Orleans
and sang into people's windows.

and with me there's a new day.

WHAT IS POETRY? (2)
I
am often asked, "What
is poetry?"
In attempts to give
academic answers that
I rarely try to practice nor
can practice very well;
I let my heart and soul answer.
NO
I cannot and would not dare
to answer for anyone else.
Poetry is like beauty, "It
is in the eyes the beholder":
IT IS IN HOW AND WHAT
IT MAKES ME FEEL--both
to write and receive.
POETRY
takes a desire and makes it real.
POETRY takes the soft
and makes it hard.
POETRY takes the dry
and makes it wet. ...

When I joined the ship as a second cook I had trained as a baker, on a tank ship with forty crews, one, who could bake a passable loaf was needed
The cook’s name was Egon Hedin, he had an ascetic face with an aristocratic nose, one felt like bowing to his lord until you saw his arms they looked enormous which would in a boxer
the vessel left Antwerp for Russia the journey took us through the Mediterranean Sea and since the weather was fine the deckhands wore shorts that excited him greatly, he tried to sneak up to one of them to stroke the boy’s back, this...

It's a wonderful life
As a comet burns bright
And streaks across the night sky
So goes life
Against the fabric of time
Blink and you might miss
This strange celestial star
As it burns itself out
Fragmented from friction
But those lucky enough
To see it's blazing glory
Will speak of the miracle
They were blessed to see
And I will also
Count myself fortunate
To witness this mysterious magic
In a cursed and weary world
And streaks across the night sky

snap in my step, smile
on my face, racing heart,
and desires of fire are
not my doing or found
