The Realist Idealist
Keeping people at a distance is just what I do
I've been pushing people away cuz they're just not you
Telling everyone I'm ok but its just not true
Can't change my outlook when I got just one view
The constant ache inside of me has broken my will
No matter how much I try to come to terms it hurts me still
Like cutting my heart open and watching all of the blood spill
Sick of people telling me that I just need to chill
I had everything I ever wanted and I tossed it away
Acting like they meant nothing made...

You were a fun experience
a fleeting burst of color
in the grayscale monotony of my days.
Your laughter echoed in my heart,
a melody now faded and distant,
making every moment spent with you
a bittersweet memory.
The adventures we once embarked upon,
the little secrets we shared,
and the endless conversations we had,
each one now a haunting reminder
of what once was.
You taught me the true essence of joy,
how to find it in the simplest of things,
and how to embrace it fully,

Therapy Session
Protagonist:
Salt all over my wounds
I let my tears tell the truth
I gave my life up in this too
with a demon pitch black
hanging over my shoulders
blaspheming outrightly
the words that echo
"I feed off turmoil, love and intent."
Meanwhile, I'm only trying to seek out the beauty
But the answer , it seems,
lies within the continuous war inside my head
"I feel like i'm falling."
Therapist : “I feel like I'm falling?”

Water Fountain
She told me she loved me by the water fountain.
It's where we met.
Where we dreamt,where our home was.
And where we slept.
She told me she loved me more than him.
Her voice sounding sad and grim.
It's been a good while since I saw her face.
The way she moves in ellegance and grace.
But she is now with another.
That's approved by her father.
It's getting quite late outside.
And he was in a hurry to touch.
She says she loves him.
And that he cares much.
Now he's grabbing her hips and...

I miss you and it's making me sick
Yes, I realize the fact that I'm missing you at all
Means I'm simply fucked in the head
I keep asking myself what the fuck is so wrong with me
I plead with myself to get a goddamn grip already
How could I possibly miss someone who has done what you've done to me
Ache for someone who has brought me so low
I end up at the same excuse as always .. that I'm on drugs
Mind altering, game changing drugs
Heavy drugs
I also like to blame it on serotonin, dopamine and good old basic physics
I crave you...

Ignited all cares flicked to the wind still without a kind regard [ to give ]
AWAKEN to a phoenix shriek soaring out smelted [ molten ash ]
Paused chest purified wiping the charcoal quick adjust as [ I dash ]

You were like a teddy bear to me.
Untill the day you lied to me.
I stitched up your wounds and gave you my heart.
So you can live,so we never fall apart.
I brought you everywhere - to the carnival,to my home.
Until you tried to sneak in my room at night.
That's the day I felt fright.
You were cuddly,soft.
Adorable and sweet.

Your essence lingers in my mind
You curl it up and puff it into plumes
I never wrote about you when I was present
I guess I had nothing to even say like empty rooms
