Let Go(d)

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all [ your heart ]
and lean not on your [ own understanding ];
in all your ways submit [ to him ],
and he will make your [ paths straight ].

When I'm laid in that resin pine box I hope they say [ "He lived" ]
Ignited all cares flicked to the wind still without a kind regard [ to give ]
AWAKEN to a phoenix shriek soaring out smelted [ molten ash ]
Paused chest purified wiping the charcoal quick adjust as [ I dash ]
Fiercely burning bound in breast poised in kevlar plated [ rib cages ]
Crimson flexing poetic drags precious calligraphy spilt [ onto pages ]
Aired strokes to arid sheets bare morbid witness pierce [ to chapters ]
Provocative thought feathered in blots sacrificial twisted [ in capture ]
Flipped in mirrored frame to epiphany fuming enigma caged lock [ within it ]
Linguistics roll in origami mortified to fold a [ masterpiece splendid ]
In life we create our own reality I contort volatile poems [ in blurb ]
Frivolous stretches of entrapment behold this sublime [ superb firebird: ]
I literally died inside when you left me. Disheartened broken [ in vain ]
Eye witnessed a spirit leave my beaten heart then reach out [ in pain ]
3 years passed I still claim death notes of that aborted [ sunken pulse ]
God’s Will promised is what I beckon kneeled nights in [ lifeless results ]
My angel must be immortal in 2 lives I never cried so heavy [ after life ]
Thank you for choosing me Tamar McPherson forever #1 loved [ as wife ]
I synced depths out my soul yet suppress empathy felt to [ final rest ]
Days as spouse connected with no regret stand praised [ to attest ]
Fathom when we first met I fell and lost all air in my [ chest unmatched ]
Memories support our solid foundation now my phantom rib [ is detached ]
Love of my life I knew you’d be the rebirth and final death [ of me ]
To my ghastly dismay it wasn’t old age as ghostly I [ hoped arrogantly ]
I never wrote vows for the alter yet altered vows to [ always protect ]
On my word reborn until the death of me love will survive [ to resurrect ]
Not to incite ill in grandeur I’ll respeak to affirm [ heavenly unknowns ]
God’s Will written in the Book of Life is carved bled on my [ heart’s own ]
In chalk debris sketched on ash skeletal remains insight [ infinite desire ]
Farewell soulmate adrift without a token for that boat ride a shriek in [ eternal fires ]

2 Corinthians 1:9-10
Indeed, we felt that we [ had received ]
the sentence of death. But [ that was ]
to make us rely not [ on ourselves ]
but on God who raises [ the dead ].
He delivered us [ from such ]
a deadly peril, and he will [ deliver us ].
On him we have set our hope that [ he will ]
deliver [ us again ].

Pulling at (inflamed) heartstrings to blot the verse
days later playing in wound edits
Until the death of me stitching spirit arts
connected biblical standing on merit
The world ended when your love died
no tear could wash those summer showers
Searching purple rainbow hue in open cuts
for godly promise feeling devoured
Livid repeatedly brought out in pain
to be immortal I kept reincarnating awake
To prized soldiers go the victor spoils
squeezed to crystal by early death date
Behind foresight to playground of time travels
navigating verses to openly scribe
Duality is funny I can’t let the past go
It’s a thorn that won’t heal (clenched) I thrive
At my best hides my worst of enemy (pride)
in recollection oblivious to crowns top side
I’m a different breed don’t coddle me let the blood trail
fool you entrails or pierced heart vibe
The inferno inside growls a resilient spirit (as king)
(engorged) battle worn scars express as proud art
I’m the silent elephant in rooms (Beast mode) not to
walk convos on thin ice the defense part
A patriarch torn from obstacles overran
a true benevolent beast grown wise
Peace is muddled yet (still in) presence daily
coasting inconceivable plains in my third mind's eye
Pass the baton (unfathomably) off to outer space
I’m dotting moon rock to jot the verse
Comets trace orbital keyboard strokes
outlined dichotomy masquerade fractal hurt
Lost on distant plateaus of my making
following faint phoenix nebula ripples
Feel me under intense heavy strokes
as gravity forms at pen tip scribble
Aurora ink in heavens déjà vu (encoded) memos
echoing shriek of phenomena in past lives tested
Navigating openness to suspense of event horizon
In antiquity two heartthrobs lock step pulse wholly vested
The world relapsed when true love imploded
resuscitation couldn’t bring back life
Alone off world typing a black hole message
a thunderbolt (in refraction) of resurrection’s plight…

Romans 8:28
And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him,
who are called according to His purpose.

*Let Go your heart own understanding, to him paths straight,
"He lived" to give molten ash, I dash rib cages onto pages, to chapters in capture within it, masterpiece splendid in blurb, superb firebird: in vain in pain, sunken pulse, lifeless results, after life as wife, final rest to attest, chest unmatched is detached of me, hoped arrogantly, always protect to resurrect heavenly unknowns, heart’s own infinite desire, eternal fires
had received that was on ourselves the dead, from such deliver us, he will us again,
in refraction encoded unfathomably, still in Beast mode engorged as king, pride clenched, inflamed*
