We yearn for love
at times I wonder
why we need to wait
but the distance

jobs
have to be seen
then we have another adventure soon

then humans lay

also patience is needed
most men get up

elderly take ages

memories never soil
memories never soil even in Time's oil
memories are indelible
implanted at the back of one's mind
for ever
good or bad
but good ones can be recalled
at the drop of a hat
bad ones,
it's good takes time
except for those who are pessimistic
all is black
they need to forget their mind
keep your memory intact
all poets young and old
I am fairly old
but my mind alone is fine
haven't you read my youthful erotica
it's been ages
since I came
keep afresh ...

Apocalypse
The messenger came in, spoke in his ear,
The one who had received in morning's light,
Of what had come to pass just then that year;
His eyes grew & drew in their hardened sight.
The flames began to flicker at his feet,
The news befalling those in their last breath.
Such unbelieving sadness from its heat
In moments of a generation's death.
The third all-seeing eye that knew their fate,
When destined, one-by-one, as was foretold.
Of all the man-made temples built on...
The one who had received in morning's light,
Of what had come to pass just then that year;

to paper kings

of what tomorrow brings

I own the day
I make the rules
You have no say
I own your leaders
for they all know
like cards they’ll fold

your consciousness
has been penetrated
through TV screens
I have infiltrated
